GREEN OLYMPIAD- 2023-24
Dear Parent,

Greetings from Indian School Muscat!

GREEN Olympiad is a leading school-based initiative of TERI India’s premier environment quiz for
school students. This Olympiad is designed for students of Classes IV to XII. The overall objective
of this initiative is to sensitize and build capacity of students on environment, sustainability, and
green skills.

GREEN Olympiad examination addresses a range of topics such as water, waste, energy, air,
biodiversity, climate, global warming, sustainable development, culture, green skills and current
affairs pertaining to environment and sustainable development. This year, we also aspire to create a
convergence with Mission LIFE and promote the vision of Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India to reach out to all parts of the country.

Important information about GREEN Olympiad 2023

Date of Examination October 12, 2023
Duration 60 minutes
Number of Questions 50 questions (MCQ)
Registration Fee R.O 2.500

All participants will receive certificates. Merit and distinction certificates will also be awarded based

on scores.

Students of Classes IV to XII are encouraged to participate in the Olympiad in large numbers.
Interested students may kindly register through the google form link given below and pay the
registration fee of R.O 2.500 to the respective class teachers on or before Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
