1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
I was given a task to run a business as a part of my ENT individual assignment. As a
result, I decided to sell spaghetti to students from my previous high school under the brand
named “SPAGHETTI, NOT PASTA!
Before I began my business, I first asked the school for their consultation and approval.
After getting approved, my former high school teacher gave me a platform to start which is at
the school cooperative store. Then, my mother loaned me RM100 for me to buy the supplies
for me to start my business.
My main focus was to use ingredients that are halal and clean so the students who bought
them won’t be disappointed and would most likely buy them again in the long run. I also
used a higher quality than the normal ones so the buyers won’t it as cheap.
Since online distance learning is now almost over and students are now back to school,
it's a great way to kick start the students with a new menu on their list during recess for them
to look forward to.

3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For my ENT individual assignment, I have decided to become S.M.St. Michael”s supplier
in selling spaghetti at their school cooperative store. The brand name I came up with for my
spaghetti namely “SPAGHETTI, NOT PASTA!”.
I started doing this business in the year 2020, just as I finished my years at my previous
high school S.M. St. Michael, Penampang. But, before it all began and how the idea came to
mind, I was always the student who sells services to other students, such as drawing
services, sewing services, and other random stuff. Soon, as I knew, my school days are
numbered, which means my source of income are numbered as well.
After completing my SPM exams and was still waiting for the results, when the new
semester starts, I began more desperate about how to make money. During that time, a few
of my friends are already doing small businesses such as thrift shops, cookie jar delivery, et
cetera. How the spaghetti business came to mind was when in my days as a student in high
school, I remember there used to be a shop just outside the school selling junk foods,
including the spaghetti. The shop was doing so well until it closed in my senior year. I just
took that business idea and decided to make it my own.
I discussed the idea with one of my teachers in high school and he helped approved my
business with the principal’s approval. The agreement was the money I earned from the
sales, the school gets 20% of it. In return, the school gave me a slot to sell my spaghetti at
their cooperative store. So usually I sell the spaghetti per each container rm4 to the school,
then the school sells it back to the students rm5.
With the help of the money that my mother loaned to me, I began my sales with just 5
containers, just to see if the students likes it, then it turned to 20 containers, then 30, then 40
and it keeps on flourishing until now. For your information, my house is just near the school’s
perimeter, so I usually just walk to school to send my sales.

4.0 PROJECT OUTCOME
In just one month of from my business in April, I managed to obtain a total of RM2,008
from my sales. It all thanks to all students that are finally able to go to school after a long
period of online distance learning. With 100% of students attending school, the demand of
sales became higher than before, higher before during the hybrid learning session in March
2022.
In addition, since everyday the students have different times of recess due to their extra
cocurriculum and extra classes, I would always bring different amounts each day depending
on the students schedule. The routine were 32 containers every Mondays and Thursdays,
28 containers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and only 25 containers on every Fridays. The
total amount would be 145 containers weekly.
However, there are few days that were public holidays for the students such as on the
14th, 15th, 19th and 26th of April 2022. Due to that, the profit changes for every week. The
profits are as listed;

6.0 EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Throughout a month of conducting this business project, I am able a lot in conducting a
personal business, things that should do and should not do, to maximize the profit that can
get from the business. It has also given me the opportunity to learn on how to be a more
efficient and skillful entrepreneur. It has broden my mind in the entrepreneurship world.
Hence, I can say I am more confident in being an entrepreneur in the future. The sales that
are sold day after day are the drive that keeps me motivated during the process.
However, despite having good profits flowing through, I also had few difficulties while
doing the business. I faced many challenges during the month I was selling, because I need
to reschedule my time so that I can do the business while also attend both my physical and
online classes. Time was definitely my biggest challenge. My schedule was always packed
on the weekdays and it feels like I was chasing down the clock everytime to get things done
by the end of the day.
Other than that, the other problem that I faced were the supplies for my spaghetti
sometimes were out of stock. Then, I would have to go to other store to buy them, and
usually the supplies were way more expensive than the store I often go to. The problems
were that it was pricier and wasted my time more.
Last of all, after going through all these challenges, I have learned to be responsible,
disciplined, and efficient. I also learned that consistency and perseverance are key to
becoming a successful entrepreneur. It is important to have knowledge when being an
entrepreneur and take the opportunity to do something better than before. Generally, we’d
like to become risk-taker once facing challenges,
7.0 CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I might prefer to say that being AN enterpriser isn't a straightforward task
and you want to be willing to require risks. it is also regarding having the talents, and
information, and facing each challenge once running a business, you have got to be
broad-minded and judge on each step you are making. In easy words, it's regarding creating
choices after you are in an exceeding pinch. If AN enterpriser isn't able to create choices, the
business may not attract customers and appear unprofessional. this is often why we have a
tendency to ar learning a way to become sensible entrepreneurs. I might prefer to say that I
used to be very lucky to own a spot in S.M. St.Michael to try my business. Not solely it had
been strategic for selling, however, I even have fastened customers to sell my product to.
Overall, I enjoyed running the business. though it may cause you to feel burnout, however,
productive folks are those who preserve the foremost from others. we have a tendency to
simply ought to twiddling my thumbs and learn to like the method.
