You received an email in which a customer bitterly complains about the service he
has been provided by your company. You own a luxurious and fine dining restaurant
in the centre of Madrid. Your aim is to apologize to the customer for the
inconveniences caused and convince him to return to your restaurant for a great
experience.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I AM WRITING IN REFERENCE TO THE INCONVINIENCE CAUSED BY MY

EMPLOYEES AND MYSELF WHEN YOU CAME TO MY RESTAURANT, I WOULD LIKE
TO OFFER YOU THE FOLLOWING POINTS.

● Propose the client a solution and try to convince him to come back to the
restaurant.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing in reference to the service received in my company, I WOULD LIKE TO

MENTION SOM OF THE POINTS IN REFERENCE TO THE PROBLEM.
To start with I want to apologize for all the inconveniences caused BY MY
EMPLOYEES AND MYSELF. in my own name and on my staff name. If they could
have the opportunity, they would apologize by themselves. Due to an important
problem in the kitchen, they were so nervous and they did not DO THE TASK
PROPERLY work properly. In addition, two waiters and a chef were on the OFF sick,
so we had lack of personal. WORKERS. As far as I am concerned, it is not a reason for
being impolite with the customers as well as to offer an inappropriate service.

● He was not pleased by the menu. In his own words: “the food did not live up to the
high prices”.

Secondly, I want to apologized for the service that you have received. Consequently,
to the problem in the kitchen, cookers did not have the necessary tools to prepare the
menu. Although this problem, they did all the best, even so the food did not live up to
the high prices as you expose.

● The client is not satisfied with the service received, due to the fact that he was
treated in a unpolite manner by your staff.

Therefore, I would like to invite you and your family to come back to my restaurant.
Moreover, I would invite YOU to have lunch and dinner as well as to stay in a hotel in
Madrid during the weekend. You only have to choose the date. In order that you could
have a special weekend in Madrid. In other words, I hope you can forget the horrible
experience and have a great one. It is worth visiting Madrid again and have an
unforgettable experience. To sum up I assume all the responsibilities and I apologize
for them. I looked forward to your visit. We will carry on working to offer our best.

And finally taking everything into account. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards.
