EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A. Brief Description of the project

A doughnut, also referred to as a donut, is a form of food made from fried


leavened dough. It is a common sweet snack that can be produced at home or bought
from bakeries, supermarkets, food stands, and franchised specialist vendors. It is
prepared in several ways. The waffle, on the other hand, is a cake-like delicacy made
from leavened batter and sandwiched between two hot, patterned plates. Additionally,
churros are a type of fried dough from the cuisines of Spain and Portugal that are made
from dough that is piped into hot oil using a piping bag and a large, closed star tip or
another similar shape.

Because of their adaptability, donuts and waffles can be sweetened with a variety
of fillings, including chocolate, skim milk, and vanilla. They are frequently offered as a
snack or for breakfast, brunch, or both. Churros are also often served with a warm
chocolate dipping sauce and dusted with sugar. In conclusion, the basic components for
donuts, waffles, and churros are water, butter, sugar, salt, flour, egg, and vanilla
essence, which are combined to form a dough then deep-fried.

Due to their versatility, simplicity, and range of flavors, donuts, waffles, and
churros have become well-known foods across the world. They can be consumed on the
move or as a sit-down meal and are frequently found at eateries, cafes, and food trucks.

C. Project Contribution to the Economy

Our donuts, churros, and coffee products help the economy by using paper packaging
and avoiding plastics to make them environmentally friendly. To protect the
environment, we also use paper cups and wooden utensils. Additionally, using
environmentally friendly items benefits both the environment and the community where
they are used.

Even though we use paper for packaging, it also boosts the economy by
supporting a company that cares for forests. We can restore the economy that paper has
depleted by extending an invitation to everyone in the area, and preferably the entire
nation. However, to obtain the materials we would need for our product, we went to
Olongapo City. The ingredients were reasonably priced, of excellent quality, and
sustainable. We bought the additional ingredients from the Dinalupihan public market.

To fulfill the economic needs of our contribution, small to medium enterprises


were involved in the making of our products. We have conducted a local-based
canvassing in the vicinity of both Dinalupihan and Olongapo Public Markets. Through
this, we can empower our support to the fulfillment of economic contribution.

D. Business Opportunity:

The Sweet Spot Cafe presents an exciting opportunity to cater to the food and
beverage needs of the students and teachers at Jose C. Payumo Jr. Memorial High
School. With a wide variety of products at affordable prices, the cafe aims to become
the go-to place for the school community to grab a quick snack or drink during their
breaks.

The cafe's strategic location within the school premises ensures a steady flow of
customers throughout the day, providing a lucrative opportunity for the business to
establish a strong presence and generate substantial revenue.

The Sweet Spot Cafe's menu includes a range of delicious and affordable food
and beverage options, such as donuts, churros, waffles, munchkins, hot coffee, and ice
coffee. The add-ons such as chocolate drizzle, vanilla drizzle, cinnamon, and sprinkles
offer customers the opportunity to customize their orders to their personal preferences.

The Jose C. Payumo Jr. students and faculty are the cafe's intended audience.
Memorial Senior High. The cafe wants to build a devoted clientele and encourage repeat
business by catering to their distinct tastes and preferences.

The Sweet Spot Cafe was operational for two days, during which it provided a
convenient and affordable option for the school community to satisfy their food and
beverage cravings. With its competitive pricing, delicious and customizable menu
offerings, and strategic location, the Sweet Spot Cafe presents a unique and exciting
opportunity for entrepreneurs looking to venture into the food and beverage industry.

Due to the Sweet Spot Cafe's success at the Bazaar event, there is a chance to
grow the company and increase revenue. Catering for school events like proms,
graduations, and sporting events is one sector that could increase. Another alternative is
to increase the selection of food and beverages on the menu by including items like
sandwiches, smoothies, and milkshakes. Moreover, the Sweet Spot Cafe can investigate
collaborating with nearby companies to present special deals and promotions that would
draw more clients and raise brand recognition. The Sweet Spot Cafe may succeed in the
cutthroat food sector by utilizing these opportunities to expand.

E. Execution

Marketing and sales

As a student who attempted to open a booth at the bazaar, I made use of my


ability to talk to people and not be afraid to introduce or promote my product to my
target market, which consists of other students. We will use advertising; why should we
do so? Because it's crucial that we understand how to influence people to identify or

introduce our product to be sold. Before starting a marketing career, you should have
more knowledge because it is not simple. For example, creating a product requires a lot
of steps, money, low-cost materials, and knowledge of client persuasion. For me, I need
to do all of this first so that I can start marketing.

Sales plan

We are aware of the things that we know should be done in the development of a
product because once your product is quality or tested, we know that it will be enjoyed.
If I am going to build a company, how can I not make a deal with another company for
the transaction of the product and how can the markets be encouraged to release my
product to the market when I am not very well known and just starting? Making a
product of associated quality is quite valuable because it is quick to win over a dealer if
your product is of a high caliber, and we also require our goods.

Location and Facilities

Our company operates out of a single location which serves as our headquarters.
The office is in a Stem building in Jose C. Payumo jr memorial high school barangay
Naparing, providing easy access to clients and potential customers. The office space is
20 square feet and is designed to accommodate our current team of 19 employees
comfortably. It includes individual workstations, meeting rooms, a conference room , a
dedicatrd customer support area, and a break room for employees.

The current office space meets our current needs adequately; however, as our
business continues to grow, we anticipate the need for additional space. We have
identified potential expansion options within the building, allowing us to increase our
office area by an additional (1,000) square foot. This expansion will provide us with the
flexibility to accommodate a larger team and facilitate collaborative work environments.
Additionally, we have established partnerships with co-working spaces in different
regions to support our remote workforce and facilitate client meetings.

Technology:

To run our firm effectively, we use a variety of crucial software and hardware.
Our main software consists of an extensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
that combines several operations such order processing, inventory management, and
financial tracking. We can improve efficiency overall, optimize inventory levels, and
streamline operations thanks to this ERP system. Additionally, it allowed us to organize
our finances and create a directory of our sales, items, etc.

We employ a strong e-commerce platform for our online operations, which offers
clients a simple interface to browse and buy our products. For flawless order fulfillment
and real-time inventory adjustments, this platform interfaces with our ERP system. To
support our internal operations and data storage, we maintain a network of computers,
servers, and networking devices. Additionally, we have promoted, offered, and
negotiated bargains for our items via social media channels.

To enhance our marketing efforts, we employ a suite of marketing tools such as


customer relationship management (CRM) software, email marketing platforms, and
social media management tools. These tools enable us to effectively manage customer
relationships, generate leads, and execute targeted marketing campaigns.

G. Appendix

A paper plate was used for serving pastries and a paper cup was for iced and hot
coffee. Using a paper plate and cup as food packaging is a common and convenient
option for serving or packaging food or drinks in certain situations. Paper utensils are
environmentally friendly because they are compostable, recyclable, and biodegradable.
It is lightweight and easy to handle, ideal for quick meals. It may not be as sturdy or
