GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Technovanza 9.0, an Inter-School Computer Festival has FIVE events in total. All the events will be
held in an offline mode. Registrations are invited for all the events.
2. REGISTRATION
a) There is a common registration form for a school .
b) The registration should be done ONLY ONCE for ALL the events by the school. The registration
link along with other details is available on the school website.

c) Only ONE TEAM per event per school should be registered.
3. SUBMISSION
a) Online submissions are required for only 2 events ( MOVIE MANIA & EMBELLISH
DYSFUNCTIONALITY) as mentioned in the detailed Rules & Regulations sheet.
4. A student can participate in ONLY ONE event.
5. Registrations will be done on a first-come first-served basis.
6. On-the-spot registrations will not be possible due to paucity of space.
7. The host school will participate in a non-competitive mode.
8. All participating students must be accompanied by a Teacher-In-Charge from the school.
9. The participants are expected to follow COVID-appropriate behaviour.
10. Students must carry their School ID card.
11. All teams must abide by activity-specific rules with respect to the time allotted, software
permitted, and suggested theme.
12. If you have a query regarding a specific activity, kindly contact the Teacher-in-charge only on
working days between 5-6 PM.
13. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
14. The School that scores the maximum marks across all the events will be awarded the ‘Overall
Winners Trophy’. This is subject to their participation in 4 or more events.
15. Results of all the events will be declared on the same day of the event, Friday, 17 Nov 2023.

Event Description
Create a 3-D digital drawing using maximum available tools in the Paint 3-D software.

TOPIC: Cultural Canvas - Celebrating G20 Nations

Participants should create digital art showcasing a unique aspect, culture of any one G20 country.

Rules of the Event


The schools have to register for the event via the common Google Form.
Participants have to choose any one G20 country and present a unique aspect of it - landscape, culture, or
heritage monument using Paint 3-D software.
The work should clearly highlight the theme chosen for that particular country.
Participants may use text as well to make a clear presentation.
Participants will get 1 hour to create the presentation.
A hand-drawn image on a piece of paper can be carried by the students for reference.
This is an offline event and each participant will be assigned one PC to create their art.

Event Description
Teams will design a game, based on the given topic using SCRATCH as mentioned.

TOPIC: Cultural Exchange

Teams will craft a game that showcases the diversity of cultures within the G20 countries, offering players
the opportunity to learn about customs, traditions, and languages.

Rules of the Event


Schools have to register for the event via the common Google Form.
Participants will NOT be allowed to download any music, images, or video clips from the Internet.
Usage of any other software or content from the internet is prohibited.
Participants should bring their own headphones/earphones (if needed), the school will not be providing the same.
Teams will be given 45 minutes to complete the task after which they will be asked to present the same.
No external devices such as pen drives, CDs, etc. will be allowed.
One computer system per school would be provided.

Event Description
Teams will design a COMIC STORY based on a given topic on the TCS iON portal as mentioned.
The tutorial on the software is available on the website and schools are requested to give practice to
their participants beforehand.

Topic: CLIMATE AVENGERS


Teams will develop a story where a group of Indian environmental activists and scientists come together to combat climate
change. They work on groundbreaking solutions and seek international cooperation from G20 countries to implement them
while battling corporate interests and political obstacles.

Rules of the Event


Schools have to pre-register for the event via the common Google Form.
Teams must pre-register on the TCS iON website and create their account for the event.
Students would be given ONE hour to make the comic story.
The story should comprise maximum of 6 panels.
One computer system per school would be provided.
Students CANNOT bring any material on a pen drive/email or otherwise.

Event Description
The students will shoot a movie which revolves around the theme of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (One Earth. One
Nation. One family). Films should convey a positive message of unity in diversity and universal brotherhood.

Rules of the Event


The schools have to register for the event via common Google Form.
Movie should be of maximum duration of 2-3 minutes excluding credits.
All entries must be original work of students and footage should be shot by participants . Plagiarism is strictly
prohibited.
Actors / performers in the video can be other than the participating students as well without any restriction to the
number .
Dialogues should only be in English / Hindi . Use of subtitles is allowed.
Use of any other audio is allowed only with due credits .
Use of any rude/ foul language will lead to disqualification.
The schools outside Delhi -NCR can also participate in the event and submit their movies timely for judgement.
Participating teams will present their Movie to the judges on the day of the event.
Movie is to be uploaded on YouTube channel and link of the same to be submitted latest by 06 Nov’23.

TOPIC: Enabling The Disabled

Rules of the Event


The schools have to register for the event via common Google Form.
Teams have to device a prototype / AI powered tool for use by differently able.
All entries must be original work of students . Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
The schools outside Delhi -NCR can also participate in the event .
The event comprises two rounds—
Round 1 (Online Submission)
Round 2 (On-Campus Pitch).
Entries for Round 1 must be submitted as a PDF along with a video of the prototype(optional) via Google Submission
Form latest by 10 Nov’23.
Selected schools will be invited for Round 2-On Campus Pitch.
Teams will also have Q&A session with judges after their pitch.
Bringing a prototype on the day of the event is compulsory for demonstration.
