HAS REVIEW

1. HAS Review is significant as the documentation and management of record to ensure


that all the elements included in HAS Manual are well implemented. A proper filing
system, with dedicated storing space, must be created to keep all the records. This will
be used as evidence when the needs arise.

2. Management review of the HAS system shall be conducted annually and corresponding
with Internal Halal auditing to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of halal
management system.

3. An immediate review may be necessary when controls are ineffective.

4. Review details must be documented and kept in Halal Assurance System Manual.

5. Each record and documents must be duly signed by the process owner together with
dates to acknowledge that the review has been conducted.

6. A process validation is carried out to ensure that the criteria developed at HCP are
effective and to comply with Shariah requirements.
