I will extol thee my God, 0 King and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. The pinnacle of Praise; The very heights of praise are reached when we can say, 1 will extol Thee. I will place Thy name above every other name. I will bless Thee for ever and ever. I will live in an attitude of dedication every day, I will praise Thee for ever and ever. I shall be constantly thanking God for His continuing love ,and mercy and forgiveness. The Promise of Praise. 1 will extol Thee I will bless Thee. This is a promise or covenant made with God. Who dare break it. This is not a promise made on a human level for no human being could keep such a contract. It can only be made with the power of the Holy Ghost within us and allowed to work out God's purposes in us and through us. we can only praise and worship God as the Holy Spirit lifts us up out of ourselves. We praise Him because He is our God , He has forgiven our sins and we are reconciled to Him by Jesus Christ's death and resurrection . Let us endeavour to put God first in our lives and be loved of Him each day. The Prominence of Praise. The amount of time and energy and money we give to God each day. Not with a fanfare of trumpets but with the cry of joy from the heart of the sinner saved by grace. How well the psalmist knows his God. Can we say, Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. So as we experience the love and mercy of God so will we come to that place of willingly offering up praise and adoration and love to God. And men shall speak of the might of Thy terrible acts and I will declare Thy greatness. The People who Praise. I will speak, men will speak says the psalmist.
