I, Md. Yousuf Ali, am an established Energy Expert with extensive experience in energy management. I
specialize in Energy and GHG Emission Audits, adhering to international protocols like ASHRAE, SBTI,
HIGG FEM, and national standards from the SREDA, Bangladesh Bank Petrobangla, and BERC. My scope
covers co-generation, tri-generation, energy modeling, and green building consulting. Notably, I excel in
crafting compliant electromechanical designs tailored for efficiency and economy.
Additionally, I have accomplished safety compliance assessments at prominent institutions, including
The Office of the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Ganabhaban, the official residence of
the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

emission reduction targets per SBTI. All energy assessments are conducted following ASHRAE, SBTI,
HIGG FEM standards and national criteria by Bangladesh Bank for Green Transformation Fund,
Technology Development Fund, and guidelines from the Natural Gas T&D Company and the
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).

E-1: Energy Expert at ENRG TECH, Dhaka (Sep’ 2016 - Present)
As an Energy Expert at ENRG TECH, I spearhead initiatives in energy and GHG emission auditing,
diligently applying protocols such as SBTI, HIGG FEM, and ASHRAE. My role encompasses a vast array
of responsibilities, including cogeneration, trigeneration, and energy recycling in line with the stringent
guidelines set by institutions like the Bangladesh Bank, Natural Gas Transmission and Distribution
Authority, and the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission. With an eye on the future, I also
undertake energy modeling and simulations for new construction projects, ensuring their energy
efficiency from the get-go. Complementing these technical pursuits, I provide green building
consultation services and design techno-economical electromechanical systems, guaranteeing that
they meet the highest compliance standards and contribute to a sustainable future.
E-2: Head of Sustainability at Emkay Enterprises Limited, Dhaka (Aug’15 - Sep’16)
At Emkay Enterprises, I spearheaded initiatives in sustainable development, focusing primarily on
LEED-compliant green building practices. My extensive experience with the ASHRAE protocol
empowered Emkay with best-in-class energy efficiency evaluations. Moreover, my leadership in safety
assessments ensured our electrical systems remained compliant with global standards, reinforcing our
commitment to safety and sustainability.
E-3: Industrial Surveyor (Electrical) at Bureau Veritas, Dhaka (Jun’13-Aug’15)
In my role as an Electrical Surveyor, I undertook comprehensive evaluations of electrical systems,
ensuring they adhered to recognized benchmarks, including BNBC 2006, BS 7671, NFPA 70, and
Alliance and Accord standards. I also took pride in devising a preventive maintenance strategy based
on NFPA 70B, significantly enhancing operational safety and efficiency.
E-4; Sr. Safety Engineer (Electrical) at BD Technology Limited, Dhaka (Feb’ 12- May’13)
At BD Technology, I was responsible for rigorous electrical safety evaluations, with a specific focus on
electrical safety and overall system performance. My meticulous assessments, including a wide array
of technical tests, provided valuable insights for industries, helping them optimize their electrical
setups. I also played a pivotal role in promoting energy-efficient industrial practices.

In my tenure at Metal Plus Limited, I ensured the flawless operation and maintenance of diesel and NG
generators. My responsibilities went beyond the technical realm as I worked diligently on maintenance
