—~“ESSAY ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE PANDEMIC
+ The coronavirus, or COVID-19, should be known to
everyone by now. In January 2020, the coronavirus
spread around the world after starting in China and
reaching the US. There are a number of symptoms
associated with the virus, including shortness of breath,
chills, sore throat, headaches, headache, loss of taste
and smell, runny nose, vomiting, and nausea.
Symptoms may not appear for up to 14 days, as already
stated. Furthermore, the virus is highly contagious,
making it dangerous for people of all ages. The virus
attacks the immune system, putting the elderly and
those with chronic illnesses at risk.+ Researchers discovered that the virus originated in
China while delving into its origins. Despite everything
scientists have analyzed, the virus originated in a bat
and spread to other animals, eventually reaching
humans. Sporting events, concerts, large gatherings,
and subsequent school events were canceled across
the United States as the numbers rapidly increased.
In January of this year, the virus was first reported in
the news and media. It seemed that the virus posed
no threat to the United States and many other
countries around the world. Various health officials
around the world were alerted to the virus over the
following months as it spread rapidly.+ Atthat time, the schools were officially closed for
the remainder of the school year. A new standard
was set through distance learning, online classes,
and online courses. On May 4, the School District
Of Philadelphia began offering remote and online
classes. My classes started at 8 am and lasted until
3 pm four days a week.
