2019 to 2021 is the year when Corona took place. we can't work, we can't go to school, and
everything we do has to be at home. and that year also meant there were no such things as
events, such as cosplay events, music, exhibitions, etc. Well, this time I will present a
cosplay event.
Do you know how much budget is needed to organize an event? or why did I take the topic
of event business?
My name is Agung Ramadhan, I am one of the people who has a little experience in creating
events from a community called OTSURU, I come from Belitung, a little far from here.
today let me share a little of my experience about the world of events
This topic will be relevant for you/us because in the world of events we have to be able to
plan a business plan so that we can get as many visitors as possible. In planning events we
also have to have good communication skills. why?, because when creating events we don't
always create events for ourselves, sometimes we will also be asked to create events for
other parties. So therefore the topic I bring up this time will be relevant for us/you.
Firstly I will explain what a cosplay event is?, as I said at the beginning I will present a
cosplay event, so let me explain a little, so a cosplay event is an event where people dress
up as characters from a game, anime, film, comic , etc.
In cosplay events there are also cosplay competitions such as Coswalk, Coscomp, J-Song,
Lipsing, Cabaret, etc. Apart from competitions, there are also performers such as idols,
bands, DJs, dance, etc. People who cosplay are called cosplayers, so cosplayers can take
part in these competitions and get prizes. Yes, maybe that's a brief explanation about
cosplay events
Secondly in an event business there is one thing that is most important and must be owned
by an eo, namely relationships, because relationships are very helpful in creating an event,
such as relationships with the performers or guest stars that we will invite, because if we
have a good relationship with the performers or guest stars that we know will find it easier to
invite them back to our upcoming events, and relationships with other EOs are also
important, so that they can collaborate, or help each other in creating events, and can also
reduce the possibility of our event being crashed. by other events.
Third, if you want to create an event, you also have to take into account the costs that will be
incurred to create the event, such as costs for paying performers, judges, venue, stage,
decorations, winning prizes, volunteer fees, etc. Everything must be prepared and calculated
carefully, so as not to suffer losses after the event takes place. Apart from costs, you must
also be able to prepare a letter of agreement or MOU with the performers, guest stars,
judges and venue, in order to prevent cheating, and also don't forget to always pray that the
event we create will run smoothly.
