Keystroke Action
ESCape
Playback is halted if streams are currently playing otherwise halts any Black Frame Search, or
cancels the add/edit of a Subtitle or Cut Point Record.

PrtScr Captures and saves the current frame as a JPEG file.

Delete The current Chapter Point/Subtitle/Cut Point record is deleted, depending on which Tab page
is currently open.
Ctrl+Delete Deletes all Chapter Point/Subtitle/Cut Point records depending on which Tab page is currently
open.
SpaceBar Adds a Chapter Point at the current frame provided that frame is an I Frame and you are not
adding or editing a Subtitle Record.
Left Arrow Go to previous frame.
Ctrl+Left Arrow Go to previous chapter position (only if Chapters have been defined).
Right Arrow Go to next frame (only if Chapters have been defined).
Go to next Chapter Position.
Ctrl+Right Arrow

Up Arrow Go to next I Frame.

Down Arrow Go to previous I Frame.
Home Positions to the first frame.
Page Up Positions to the next Start Frame for Subtitles or Cut Points (if defined)
Page Down
Positions to the previous Start Frame for Subtitles or Cut Points (if defined)

End Positions to the last frame.

F2
Sets the current video position as the Start Frame for either Subtitles or Cut Points.

F3
Sets the current video position as the End Frame for either Subtitles or Cut Points.

Ctrl+F3 Sets the End Frame to the last frame of the video stream for Edits only.
Alt+F4 Closes DVD Lab PRO Extensions.
F5 Positions to the currently-defined Start Frame.
F6 Positions to the currently-defined End Frame.
F7 Starts playback.
Ctrl+F7 Starts I-Frame playback.
F8 Stops playback/I-Frame playback.
F9 Starts Black Frame search for next black/non-black frame.
Ctrl+F9 Clears Black Frame button border so that the next search will be for a black frame. If the Shift
key is also pressed (Shift+Ctrl+F9), then ProEx searches for the next black frame.

Alt+F9
Sets Black Frame button border so that the next search will be for a non-black frame. If the
Shift key is also pressed (Shift+Alt+F9), then ProEx searches for the next non-black frame.

F11 Activates the Project Tab.
Rewind (Multimedia Keyboard) If no Chapter Points have been defined, positions to the first frame
otherwise positions to the previous chapter position.
Fast-Forward (Multimedia Keyboard) If no Chapter Points have been defined, positions to the last frame
otherwise positions to the next chapter position.
Play
(Multimedia Keyboard) Starts playback (Ctrl+Play starts I-Frame playback).

Stop (Multimedia Keyboard) Stops playback/I-Frame playback.
