I. GENERAL INFORMATION
Title: Design and develop an instructional material for Learners with disability
Participants: Teachers
II. RATIONALE:
Inclusive education refers to an educational system that values and respects the diversity of all students,
including those with disabilities, cultural and linguistic differences, and socio-economic backgrounds (Hockings,
2010). It is an approach that seeks to create a learning environment that is inclusive, supportive, and accessible to
all students, regardless of their background or abilities. This means that all students have the right to an education
that is tailored to their individual needs and abilities, and that all students have the potential to learn and achieve their
goals (Alquraini & Gut, 2012). Inclusive education is not just about providing access to education for students with
disabilities, but also about creating a learning environment that values and celebrates diversity in all its form.
In accordance with the above, the SPED Coordinator of Fausta Salazar Como Memorial
School, under the leadership of the School Head, is conducting a school learning action cell on
designing and developing an instructional material that helps the learners with disability. The purpose of this
