BRUSH UP
1. Differentiate
a. Created text and authentic text
Created text refers to any text that is intentionally produced or fabricated by a
person or entity. On the other hand, authentic text refers to real-life, unmodified
texts that are naturally occurring, such as newspaper articles or personal letters.
b. Linguistic compressing aspects and gestural compressing aspect
Linguistic compressing aspects refer to the use of language and verbal
communication to convey meaning. Gestural compressing aspects, on the other
hand, involve non-verbal cues and gestures that contribute to communication,
such as facial expressions or body language.
c. Floor fade and text part of the scene
Floor fade refers to the gradual reduction or disappearance of dialogue or sound
on a movie or theater set to shift the focus to another part of the scene. Text part
of the scene refers to any written or spoken content that is integral to the scene's
narrative or purpose.
d. Purpose of text and tone of text
The purpose of the text refers to the reason why it was created or what it aims to
achieve, such as providing information, persuading, or entertaining. Tone of the
text refers to the attitude, mood, or emotion conveyed by the language and style
used in the text, which can be serious, humorous, formal, or informal.
