PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Kongsberg Automotive can offer a wide range of rotary shifters


based on customer needs and requirements.
In addition to the basic designs, Kongsberg Automotive has a
patented and verified solution for an electro-mechanical locking
system which allows the positions for P, R, N, D etc. to be not fixed,
but assigned at start-up, whilst still having a locking functionality.
The electro-mechanical lock system is faster and consumes less
current compared to conventional solenoid solutions.
According to customer requirements, the rotary knob can be
offered with a stable central drum with only the outer ring rotat-
ing. The shifter can also be designed to include different buttons
and illuminated patterns.
