FUNCT IONAL REQUIREM ENT S

1. The design shall m eet all perform ance requirem ents per specifications listed
above.
2. The design shall be robust to fluctuating input v oltage , within the specified
operating range, such that the supply v oltage to the LED is constant.
3. The design shall have diodes or other considerations in place to prev ent and
protect against reverse current flow and rev erse input polarity .
4. Com ponent spacing and lay out shall be suffic ient to avoid failures due to
excessive therm al loading from the LED . The PCB m aterial selection is
preferred to be Alum inum to im prov e heat dissipation.
5. Com ponent spacing and lay out shall optim ize trace lengths and follow design
best practice for app ropriate grounding plane utilization .
6. Design shall m inim ize use of Via where possible.
7. The PCB shall be appropriately m arked for com ponent, placem ent, part
num ber, and keep out zones .
