Artificial intelligence (AI) is important in everyday life because it can process and make decisions based on vast amounts of data in ways that humans cannot. AI is already used for applications like fraud detection, virtual customer assistance, and chatbots. As AI technologies like natural language processing and computer vision advance, more industries will use AI to innovate, improve customer experience, and reduce costs. Some free AI tools that demonstrate its capabilities include ChatGPT for question answering, Dall-E for image generation, and Grammarly Go for text correction.

Importance of AI in our everyday life
What is AI?
Hello! My name is Andrei Stefanache, and today I will present to
you why Artificial Intelligence is important in our everyday lives.
Now, you might ask “What is AI?” Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a
fields of computer science that combines computer science and robust datasets to enable problem-solving.
This advanced “tool” gives us a whole another field of research.
Some companies have already implemented this technology to improve customer satisfaction and to examinate it’s behaviors while perceiving new data.
WHY IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IMPORTANT?
Today, the amount of data that is generated, by both humans and
machines, far outpaces humans’ ability to absorb, interpret, and make complex decisions based on that data. Artificial intelligence forms the basis for all computer learning and is the future of all complex decision making. As an example, most humans can figure out how to not lose at tic-tac-toe (noughts and crosses), even though there are 255,168 unique moves, of which 46,080 end in a draw.
Computers are extremely efficient at calculating these
combinations and permutations to arrive at the best decision.
AI (and its logical evolution of machine learning) and deep
learning are the foundational future of business decision making.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE USE CASES
Applications of AI can be seen in everyday scenarios such as
financial services fraud detection, retail purchase predictions, and online customer support interactions. Here are just a few examples:
Fraud detection. The financial services industry uses
artificial intelligence in two ways. Initial scoring of applications for credit uses AI to understand creditworthiness. More advanced AI engines are employed to monitor and detect fraudulent payment card transactions in real time. Virtual customer assistance (VCA). Call centers use VCA to predict and respond to customer inquiries outside of human interaction. Voice recognition, coupled with simulated human dialog, is the first point of interaction in a customer service inquiry. Higher-level inquiries are redirected to a human.
When a person initiates dialog on a webpage via chat
(chatbot), the person is often interacting with a computer running specialized AI. If the chatbot can’t interpret or address the question, a human intervenes to communicate directly with the person. These noninterpretive instances are fed into a machine-learning computation system to improve the AI application for future interactions.
Advancements in AI for applications like natural language
processing (NLP) and computer vision (CV) are helping industries like financial services, healthcare, and automotive accelerate innovation, improve customer experience, and reduce costs. Gartner estimates that up to 70% of people will interact with conversational AI platforms daily by the year 2022. NLP and CV provide a valuable link between humans and robots: NLP helps computer programs understand human speech, and CV applies machine learning models to images, and is perfectly suited for everything from selfie filters to medical imaging.
Some free AI tools are:
1. ChatGPT- You can ask it any question and with a very
complex algorithm it can answer your query in seconds!
2. Dall-E- This Artificial Intelligence tool can create a
picture of anything you could imagine. if I give it a subject and a style, it can generate me a very cool image.
For example, A panda riding a horse, watercolor style.
3. Grammarly Go is an AI service that can correct your
text in seconds! It can even make it sound more professional or casual; business style or formal. What has AI already been used for?
As I mentioned before, this technology has already
been implemented in products.
Car companies used it to create a self-driving feature;
Apple, made it so through AI, any iPhone can contact a
satellite immediately for emergency services.
Right now, they are working on an Android. And I do
not mean Android as in the phone OS, but as a robot that looks and behaves exactly like a human. But don’t worry! As long as it will be programmed for good, it won’t do any harm at all.
