FIRST STEPS TO ACHIEVE YOUR OBJECTIVE

M 1. All babies sleep through the night by three months of age.


Rationale: Most babies that reach this month of age have difficulty in sleeping because they
tend to crave for milk and they can make 8 hours of sleep.

M 2. Baby-talk negatively impacts language development.


Rationale: According to research, babies actually enjoy hearing "baby talk" since it signals to
them that the conversation is for them and helps them focus on what you are communicating.
Additionally useful in helping kids comprehend between sounds and words is "baby talk." It's
crucial to keep in mind that this is merely beneficial for infants and should not be used while
conversing with toddlers or older kids.

M 3. Don’t pick your baby up when s/he cries. You will spoil them!
Rationale: At this age, you cannot spoil your child. There's no scientific proof that a baby
becomes clinging because you listen to their cries. According to studies on child development,
when parents respond to their crying infants. Your infant will genuinely feel a greater sense of
safety and security in interactions. The baby will be less cranky and clingy if they receive
interactions that are constant, predictable, and caring.

M 4. The Terrible Two's are a terrible time!


Rationale: When a child reaches two years old, they don't always become a naugthy, tantrum-
throwing toddler. On the contrary, a youngster starts to feel more independent and autonomous
at this age. Your youngster may start to show signs of wanting to have some influence over
their daily habits, for example.

F 5. Teething is the culprit for babies’ long-term distress.


Rationale: Babies that are teething may drip even more than usual. They chew and nibble on
everything to relieve themselves, which is why they bite and gum down on everything. Them
acting angrier, more upset, and more grouchy than normal. red, painful gums.

M 6. Early talkers are geniuses amongst their peers.


Rationale: Babies that are early talkers are not certified smart. This depends on how the mother
treats their baby. Others might be engaging in early reading books to enhance their ability to
talk and have a lot of vocabulary in their mouth. So, this is not the basis of being a genius
among their peers.

M 7. Boys are usually more hyper than girls.


Rationale: Boys are considered as hyper when they are younger and girls tend to act more
bashful or soft because that's how the society differentiate them but as time goes by this
personality will develop depending on their social life.
M 8. Classical music makes our babies smarter.
Rationale: There isn't any evidence that it does. Studies have shown that classical music brings
down a newborn's heart and breathing rates and soothes their stress, and that listening to a
waltz or concerto might help promote brain development, especially in premature babies.

M 9. The bigger the size of the head, the smarter your child is.

F 10. Newborns can’t tell the difference between their mother and any other person.
Rationale: Babies are able to communicate with you from birth but a newborn is unaware that
they are separated with their mother. As a newborn it is hard to contemplate what is happening
around them.
