Observe a class and interview the Resource Teacher. Ask how the personal and physical aspects
of the classroom management ensure proper classroom management and discipline. Check if these
aspects were observed in the classroom.

ANALYZE

Analyze the different elements of personal/physical classroom management and answer the
following questions.
1. How does the voice of the teacher affect classroom instructions?

Answer: The voice of the teacher affect classroom instructions by means of the volume and tone
of the teacher. When the voice of the teacher is loud, majority of the students would be able to
hear what the teacher would want to say or what directions that she wants to deliver.

2. How does the punctuality of the teacher affect the classroom discipline?

Answer: The punctuality of the teacher affects classroom discipline because, when a teacher is
punctual, it’s likely that her students would do the same. They would always be in class and they
wouldn’t miss out on any crucial lessons that they will tackle in class.

3. Why do we need to check on the physical aspects of the classroom management?

Answer: We would need to check on the physical aspects of the classroom management, mainly
because

Reflect on the aspects of personal and classroom management.

1. What does the statement mean to you as a future teacher? Explain. “No amount of good
instruction will come out without effective classroom management.”

2. What are your plans in ensuring effective classroom management?

Observe the classroom management strategies that your Resource Teacher employs in the
classroom. You may also conduct an interview to substantiate your observation.
