Documents that have been issued in a language other than English must be
translated to English.
Original language documents must be translated in full including letterhead and any
stamps and seals that are not in English and appear on the original language
document; extract or partial translations will not be accepted.
The official English translation must state the full details of the translator (in
English),who must be an officially recognised translator. These details include name,
contact details (email), and translator identification number.
The Australian Dental Council prefers applicants to provide translations completed
by a translator accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translator and
Interpreters (NAATI), under the designation of Certified Translator.
Translations must be uploaded with the original language document.
Any certification statements on documents, must be written in English or translated
to English.
Please submit your original document(s) and translated document(s) as one file.
Any original documents submitted to the ADC will not be returned to you.

Please note:

• Any original documents submitted to the ADC will not be immediately returned
to you unless requested in writing.
• A request for documentation to be returned to applicants will occur an $85
(AUD) administrative fee.
• A migration agent/authority to act/family member may not certify or translate
documents due to perceived conflict of interest.
