OPERA: “CARMEN” IN THE MAESTRANZA (MAY 2021)
Bizet's opera Carmen arrives on the stage of the Maestranza 29 years
later and will have the musical direction of Anu Tali, rising star of the
orchestral direction, and with a double cast headed by Ketevan
Kemoklidze and Sandra Ferrández, Sébastien Guèze and Antonio
Corianò, María José Moreno and Raquel Lojendio, or Simón Orfila and
Jean-Kristof Bouton, among others.

THEATER: “PUNISHMENT OF GOD” IN LA FUNDICION THEATER
IN SEVILLE 2021
From May 21st to 23th, 2021 the representation of the theatrical
production "Punishment of God" is scheduled. Descent into hell of
Doctor John Langdon Down, a British doctor who studied the
syndrome that bears his surname for more than three decades, who
died in 1896.

THEATER: "EDUARDO II, EYES OF MIST" AT THE LOPE DE
VEGA THEATER IN SEVILLE 2021
On Saturday, May 22th, 2021, the performance of the play “Eduardo
II, Ojos de Niebla” will take place at the Lope de Vega Theater in
Seville. The play recreates the life of King Edward II of England; But
what at first glance may seem like a historical drama, with all the
cultural load that it represents, is transformed into something more.
It is a story of love, of hate, of passion, of struggle for power, in
short, it is our story. The author is Alfredo Cernuda and José Luis Gil,
Ana Ruiz, Ricardo Joven, Carlos Heredia and Manuel Galiana are
interpreted.

CONCERT: CYCLE CAMERA ALTERNATIVES IN THE MASTRANZA
OF SEVILLE 2021
From Monday, April 12th to Friday to May 28th, 2021, the concerts
of the "Chamber Alternatives" cycle will be held at the Teatro de la
Maestranza in Seville. The program will consist of three performances
carried out in collaboration with the Musical Youth of Seville.
Promenade Piano Duo, made up of the pianists Pilar Martín and
Álvaro Saldaña, will open the cycle on Monday, April 12. It will end on
Friday, May 28 with the recital of the violinist Carlos Martínez with the
pinista Seth Schultheis.
