Duties and Responsibilities

13 (1) An employer shall ensure that every ladder is constructed of sound material
and is suitable for the purpose for which it is used” In terms of GSR 13A you will
be required to:
1. Ensure that all ladders are numbered.
2. Inspect all ladders monthly and record all findings on the register provided for this.
3. Report all defects found.
