Introduction
Hibret Bank S.C. has received a land holding certificate/LHC of the adjacent plot which is an
area of 3,253.5 square meters for the construction of the Head Office extension building project.
in Addis Ababa, Lidetta Sub-city, Woreda 7 at a place known as Senga Tera on a 3258.5 square
meter area of the plot.
Currently, Hibret Bank S.C S.CO is seeking a qualified Consulting Firm Grade I for
consultancy services of design and construction supervision of its Head Quarter Building
Extension/2B+G+32.
As a result, interested entrants/ Consulting Firm of Grade I with Minimum 10 years’ experience
in consultancy services in categories and successful completion of at least two 15 & above
stories buildings are invited to submit an expression of interest/EOI as per the enclosed format
and supporting documents.
Submission and Receipt of Expression of Interest
The submission form, instructions, and the letter of expression of interest shall be obtained and
deposited in person as per the following information and address.

The information and clarification regarding the Expression of Interest may obtain further from

The Scope of the Assignment
The consultancy services are for design and construction supervision for a multi-purpose
building
Design Service/all disciplines
Bid processing /preparation of contract document
On-site supervision, author control supervision, and contract management
The nominated consultants will be expected to carry out the detailed scope of work as per
noted below.
The consultancy services for the works will involve:
Development of detailed architectural and engineering design
Land and Environment surveys of the proposed site for the works and any laboratory
tests
Development of different detailed Architectural and Engineering designs as well as Bills
of Quantities and related schedules as will be detailed in the TOR.
Supervision and certification of construction work for the contractor
Obtaining relevant approvals and construction permits before the start of construction
The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment shall be found in the bidding
documents to be issued to only shortlisted candidates after evaluation of the Expression of
Interest.

Qualification Criteria
With noteworthy experience in implementing high-rise building design and supervision, the
consultancy firm should provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the
firm including the qualifications of key staff available for this consultancy service.
The Proposals of the consulting firm that meet the minimum requirements set forth above
shall be evaluated in the following order.

As per the aforementioned evaluation criteria, the bidders who secure 65%, and above on
this technical score shall be shortlisted for further technical and financial proposals.
