The basis for this project will be the 2024 ISTD design briefs, these are
an internationally recognised standard used in many design schools
for the purpose of developing research, development and skills in
graphic design using typography as the primary visual form.

Context
ISTD projects provide a thoughtful and thorough vehicle to firmly
establish key skills and concepts in typographic communication.
Read the briefs attached and select one to work on for the rest of
the semester.
A key aspect of working on these briefs is the necessity to have a
substantial amount of text, 500—1000 words. It is important to state
thay you do not need to write the content. In the research phase of
your project, identify text material that can be used in your project,
for example, an essay or an article or an interview. If you recall the
previous project and the notion of having something to say and
designing a way to say it. In this project the key concepts will be
typographic choices, typographic skills, layout, grids, structure,
media formats.

Read the brief carefully and begin to develop concepts and content
in a development process that references all the themes below.
