With reference to your application for admission into this Polytechnic, I have the pleasure to inform you that
you have been offered provisional admission into the Department of ELECTRICAL ELECTRONICS
ENGINEERING in the School of ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY to undertake a 2 year course leading to
the award of National Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering ( A )
1. The offer is subject to the confirmation of your suitability as a student on the basis of the qualifications
listed in your application form. You will therefore be required to produce the originals of your
Certificate(s)/Statement of Results .
2. For candidates who obtained their O level results from 2011 or earlier, only their original certificates will
be accepted for registration.
3. Please note that if at any time after your registration it is discovered that you do not possess the
qualification(s) on the basis of which you were offered admission, or you gave false information in your
application form, you will be required to withdraw from the Polytechnic.
4. You will be required to have been declared medically fit by a qualified Medical Practitioner acceptable to
the Polytechnic before you are allowed to register. The attached Medical Examination form should
therefore be duly completed by such a qualified Medical Practitioner, which should be submitted with
other relevant documents to the registration officer.
5. You will be requried to register with TSHIP in the medical centre.
6. You are to report for screening and registration in the designated registration centre Immediately.
7. You must be decent in your mode of dressing and as such no loose, weird, seductive or provocative mode
of dressing is allowed.
8. You must obtain clearance first from the department before making any payment as there would be no
refund of fees after issuance of receipts.
9. Payment of Fees must be made in full in the designated banks.
10. Foreign Students MUST provide evidence of clearance and/or registration with the Nigerian Immigration
Services.
This offer of admission is provisional and therefore, can be withdrawn at any time. If you accept this offer under
the above stipulated conditions, please proceed to the department for your clearance. The total fee you are
expected to pay is:

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR FRESH (NEWLY ADMITTED)
STUDENTS (STREAM 'A') - 2023/2024 SESSION
1. All admitted candidates are to go to the office of the academic officer for on the spot verification of their
credentials before proceeding to the deperment for collection of clearance.
2. Admitted candidates should print their admission letters using their application number at
http://portal.fptb.edu.ng/admissions/checkStatus and report to their respective head of departments for
collection of payment clearance after presenting the original copies of their result(s) and other
credentials.
3. Candidates should proceed to the designated banks with the clearance form for online payment and
obtain a payment acknowledgment slip as proof of payment.
4. Candidates should proceed to the Polytechnic MIS/ICT Center for course registration and collection of
all relevant documents including online payment receipt, which will contain details of registration of
students
5. Students are to submit two copies of online payment receipt in Bursary department for Signing &
Stamping.
6. A copy of the receipt should be collected by the candidates after it has been signed and stamped at the
Bursary department
7. Students are to proceed to the Polytechnic Medical Center for medical examination.
8. You are also required to proceed to a court of law for signing of the student's oath form.
9. Students should make two (2) copies of all the downloaded forms and relevant credentials and arrange
them orderly in three (3) different files and proceed to their respective registration centres for signing of
the course registration forms.
10. Students must proceed to the Academic office to complete their registration. Candidates should note that
their registration will not be valid until they are fully registered by the academic office.
11. Students should return to their department and submit completed copies of registration forms including
photocopy of signed temporary ID Card for Documentation
12. Students should proceed to the Chief Security Officer for Processing permanent ID card

DRESS CODE
Indecent Dressing refers to any type of dressing that exposes the part of the body that, in most cases, cause
reasonable people to frown at your person. It is mandatory on all students to comply with the Polytechnic’s
Dress Code. Failure to comply with the Dress Code attracts appropriate disciplinary measure(s).
Practically, it is explained here under for you as follows:
FOR FEMALE
1. Mini Skirts: Skirts that are above the knees.
2. Tight Skirt/Trousers: Skirts and trousers that are too tight as to expose one’s contours.
3. Short Tops or Blouses: Blouses so short that they expose the burst, tummy and pubic hair.
4. Spaghetti Hand Sleeves: Sleeves that would not cover the entire shoulder or is one- tenth to 1 inch
wide exposing your shoulder and forearm.
5. Transparent Dresses: Dresses that expose your inner wears and debase womanhood.
6. One hand Top/Blouse: Dresses that have only one hand thereby exposing the burst and armpit
hair.
FOR MALE
1. Braided Hair: Plaiting your hair like that of a woman
2. Painted Nails: Applying nail polish on nails or allowing nails to be dirty and very long.
3. Sleeves Tops: Tops that are supposed to be used indoors or worn underneath shirts but
are worn to classes and other places not meant for them.
4. Jerry Curling Hair: Applying chemicals on your hair to give it curling look as that of a lady
5. Boxers/Pyjamas: Shorts that are supposed to be used indoors for relaxation or worn
underneath trousers which often times are placed above the trousers
thereby making the person look irresponsible.
Indecent dressing is a mark of irresponsibility and gives people the impression of your type of personality. In
effect, the way you dress has a close relationship with your entire being. It is therefore, important that you
pattern your life they way it would be beneficial to you now and in future.

BASIC ANTI-CORRUPTION ATTITUDES FOR STUDENTS
1. Be patriotic, be transparent and be selfless.
2. Reject corrupt offers. Don't give bribe. Don't receive bribe.
3. Don't join clandestine (secret) groups and unregistered associations.
4. Report unauthorized collections and extortion of money to the Polytechnic's Anti-
Corruption and Transparency Monitoring Unit.
5. All forms of examination malpractices are serious offences, Avoid them,
6. Soliciting for marks from lecturers through money or sex is an offence.
7. Avoid using your office as a union exco to confer advantage on yourself or your
associates.
8. Unauthorized removal of any facilities in the classrooms and hostels is an offence.
9. Make true returns in respect of money or property received.
10. Making false petition is an offence.
11. Appreciation of lecturers with gifts for "teaching or supervising well" is an offence.
12. It is an offence to give money or material gifts to class advisers and patrons of
departmental student's association, tribal unions and state associations.
13. Report bribery transactions and any fraudulent practices to the Polytechnic's Anti-
corruption and Transparency Monitoring Unit (ACTU).
