Dear Parents/Guardians:

Greetings of Peace!

At Divine Word College of Legazpi, our commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of your child remains steadfast. In accordance
with the guidelines outlined in the Basic Education Handbook (2021), we would like to inform you of an upcoming SPIRITUAL
RECOLLECTION organized by the Campus Ministry Office. This event, designed to encourage personal reflection on life and one's
relationship with God and others, is an essential part of our educational journey.

For parents of students from different religious backgrounds, please rest assured that the Spiritual Recollection is not intended to
infringe upon your child's faith or seek conversions to Catholicism. It is a universally inclusive opportunity for all students.

We would like to assure you that the school takes full responsibility for your child's safety and well-being during this activity.
Event Details:
Schedule:
 October 10, 2023: Grade 9 – St. Camillus
 October 11, 2023: Grade 9 – St. Catherine
 October 12, 2023: Grade 9 – St. Cecilia
Venue: DWCL Pavilion, Sogod, Bacacay, Albay
Assembly: 7:15 am at DWCL Nativity Chapel
Departure at DWCL: 7:30 am
Arrival at DWCL: 4:30 pm
Financial Contribution: A contribution of SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE PESOS (PHP 675.00) per student is kindly requested to cover
transportation expenses, meals (one main meal and two snacks), recollection materials, venue, and facilitators/confessors’ fees.
Payment Method: Please make the payment at the School Cashier.
OR Presentation: Don't forget to present the official receipt (OR) to your child's Class Adviser.
Student Requirements: During the recollection, students are expected to bring the following:
 Bible
 Extra shirt
 Notebook
 Ball Pen

If your child has any specific medical needs or dietary requirements, please notify us in advance. It is crucial for the recollection team to
be aware of any such conditions to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone.

Lastly, we humbly request your prayers for the success of this recollection. Your support and prayers play a vital role in the spiritual
development of our students.
