This program is a powerful tool for managing the configuration
of and otherwise maintaining Series 5 Controllers. The more
general Fast Recorder and Alarm Monitor utilities are discussed
in the TrainTools Engineering Utilities product bulletin [PB5511].

Controller Configuration
The main purpose of this program is to display all data available
from Series 5 Controllers and allow authorized users to change
configuration parameters and operator commands (which select
manual or automatic operation, select the sources and values of
set points, and otherwise modify the controller operation). To this
end, it displays a controller list from which parameter windows
displaying the current values of their variables can be opened:
• treeview windows display hierarchical lists of all such variables,
a user-specified subset of which can be displayed in a side
watch list pane; while
• custom tableview windows display groups of variables in one
or more tab-selectable tables.
Editing the value of a parameter or command will immediately
change its value in the controller, if you log into the controller
using a password allowing write access to that variable. Find
commands allow users to easily locate specific variables in the
tree, table or watch list, and online help windows are provided for
each variable or variable group.
This program can also display interactive machine controller
faceplates and field I/O debug windows.
