Dear All,
I am writing to let you know about some changes to our office routines. I would be
grateful if you could all read this email and then print out a copy for your files.
From next Monday, the new opening hours for our office will be from 8:00 a.m. until
7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. This means that everyone should now be at their desks
by 8:00 a.m. each morning. It is also important that no one leaves the office before
7:00 p.m. in the evening. If you have any questions about these new hours, please
come and see me.
In addition, we are going to start having a staff meeting every Monday morning at
9:00 a.m. The meeting will last for one hour, and it is essential that everyone attends.
During the meeting, we will discuss any important news or updates, and we will also
go through the schedule for the week. If you need to add anything to the schedule,
please let me know by Friday afternoon.
As part of our new office routines, everyone will now need to spend one hour each
day working on general administrative tasks. These tasks include filing documents,
making photocopies, and answering the phone. Each person will also be responsible
for cleaning their own desk area at the end of the day. Please do not leave any
personal items on your desk overnight.
Finally, we have just hired a new receptionist. Her name is Emma, and she will be
sitting at the front desk. Emma's responsibilities will include greeting clients,
answering the phone, and taking messages. If you have any questions about any of
these changes, please feel free to speak with her. Thank you for your cooperation. I
am confident that these new office routines will help us to become more efficient as a
