Scholarships Academy Graduation Project Announcement:

(1200 Points)

Objective:
To enable students to apply their knowledge about finding, applying for, and preparing
scholarship applications through practical activities.

Project Overview:
This project will guide students through the entire scholarship application process, from initial
research to submission, by breaking it down into manageable steps and activities.

Project Components:
1. Activity: Students use scholarship search engines to find at least five scholarships that
match their qualifications and interests.

2. Activity: Students research and create a list of scholarships they are eligible for.

AUC, Nile University, 6th October University, the USAID scholarships, etc…

3. Creating a Scholarship Calendar: Create a scholarship calendar with deadlines,


requirements, and contact information.

4. Writing Scholarship Essays: Students write and revise a scholarship essay for one of the
scholarships they found in step 2.

5. Gathering Required Documents: Students collect and organize all necessary documents
(transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.).
6. Mock Scholarship Interviews: Students participate in mock scholarship interviews to
prepare for potential interviews. (A Google sheet will be later shared to book for your
mock interview in the period between Thursday, November 2nd,2023 and Wednesday,
November 8th, 2023)

7. Review and Reflection: Each student presents their scholarship journey to the class,
discussing successes, challenges, and improvements.

8. Project Report: Each student prepares a comprehensive report summarizing their


scholarship journey, including a list of scholarships applied to, outcomes, and lessons

Assessment:
You will be assessed based on your project reports, and the successful submission of
scholarship applications.
