technical drawing and an image would also be presented.

The types of Technical drawings, their
applications and descriptions
The types of drawing in technical drawing include:
1.3D drawings (isometric perspective)
Description: To draw in 3D simply means to depict something
that has volume or space. This can be simple as adding
thickness to block letters or as complex as trying to depict a
cityscape or a human body in space. A drawing is a 2D
model of 3D space if you want it to be.
Application: The applications for a car would include
commuting from one point to another. Another use of the car
would be the transportation of goods.

2.Exploded-view 3D Drawings
Description: An exploded view drawing is a diagram, picture,
schematic or technical drawing of an object, that shows the
relationship or order of assembly of various parts. Its shows
the components of an object slightly separated by distance,
or suspended in surrounding space in the case of a three-
dimensional exploded diagram.
Application: A boat is a small to mid-sized vessel, which has
much lesser cargo carrying capability as compared to a ship.
Ships are specifically made to carry cargo or passengers or
boats, whereas boat is a generic term used for a variety of
water crafts. Mainly boats are used for recreational purposes,
fishing, or ferry people.

3.Complete working drawings
Description: A working drawing is a drawing or blueprint
based on explanations. It is completed with a thorough plan
and views (details, notes, and dimensions) to ensure the
product construction or replication without any additional
information. Working drawings provide graphical, and
dimensioned information.
Application: A house is a building that functions as a home for
humans ranging from simple dwellings such as rudimentary
huts of nomadic tribes to complex, fixed structures of wood,
brick, or other materials containing plumbing, ventilation and
electrical systems

4.Detail Drawings (orthogonal projections)
Description: Detail drawings provide a detailed description of
the geometric form of a part of an object such as a building,
bridge, tunnel, machine, plant, and so on. They tend to be
large-scale drawings that show in detail parts that may be
included in less on general arrangement drawings.
Application: Airplanes come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and
wing configurations. The broad spectrum of uses for
airplanes includes recreation, transportation of goods and
people, military, and research.
