➢ This method statement is to explain how the form works applies in
foundations, walls, columns, slabs & beams

7. Methodology
➢ 7.1 Setting Out
• The detailed drawings will be used for setting out work.
• Erection of formwork shall be done in several stages accordingly.
• The Levels and line will be checked by supervisors before Erection of Formwork.
➢ 7.2 Preparation for Formwork
• Initially all the panels prepared at formwork fabrication yard and then directly install
and combine at the construction site.
• Foundation Perimeter formwork prepare by panels as shown in Figure 1.

• Mould oil will be applied on the 15mm plywood board to improve the removal of
formwork.

➢ 7.3 Erection of Formwork
Erect the formwork by providing sufficient props and struts including necessary
bracing as per above figures. Seal gaps in formwork to avoid leakage of grout. Ensure
checking for the required shape and dimensions as per drawings.
➢ 7.3 Removal of Formwork
• Support removal will be carried out in such a way that no any damage occurred to a
concrete structure.
• Removal of form work will be done as fallows

• All the removed supporting materials will be stacked properly and all the debris
should be cleaned after removal of supports.
➢ 7.3.1 Removal of Plywood Panels
• Once the panels removed all the “P Cone” holes will be patched by construction grout as
per the specification
8.Inspections and Approvals
➢ On field site inspections and approvals sign off by team confirming
consulting Engineer and Contractor representative.
9.Health and Safety
➢ In accordance with the BML Health and safety guidelines.
