This switch allows 3 modes of headphone monitoring. .
When the switch is set to 1, output channel 1 can be monitored
(Zi) LINK switch through both channels of the headphones, and when it is set to 2,
output channel 2 can be monitored.

This switch stabilizes the stereo image produced by a stereo
microphone. When this switch is set to ON, the gain make-up

fader for channel 1 and the gain make-up volume of channels 3 and
4 with the fader for channel 3.
When the ALC is engaged and when this switch is set to ON, the
compression and expansion of channels 1 and 2 (or channels 3 and
2% MASTER fader 4) maintain the same relationship when the input level is varied, so
that the output level from the ALC of the two channels always re-
mains same and the stereo image is stable.
