PROJECT: Purchase teaching materials, learning resources (smart tv, prepaid wifi)
and sports equipments.
II. RATIONALE/DESCRIPTION:
Palao Elementary School is located in Palao, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. It is 22.6
kilometers from Poblacion, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. It has a land area of 1 hectare, utilized
as area for classroom buildings, playground, and garden. However, there is insufficient
learning materials and devices used as resources in the teaching-learning process as well as
sports equipment’s in preparation for the upcoming sports fest in school, district, and
division sports activities.
The proponent desires to obtain learning materials and resources used in classroom
teaching. Along with it, is his desire to have sporting goods, equipment’s, protective gears
and facilities used to compete in sports that are necessary in teaching MAPEH, the very
reason this proposal was made.
This project proposal intends to improve the school’s involvement and participation
on nestle wellness campus program, school sports implementation, develop skills in
recycling, generate funds and appreciate the value of work.
III. OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of this project are the following:
a. Actively participates in nestle wellness campus program and school sports
implementation
b. Generate funds for teaching materials, learning resources and gadgets.
c. Amenity for the school sports facility and equipment’s.
d. Apply knowledge and develop skills in recycling
e. Appreciate the value of work.

VI. SOURCE OF BUDGET:
The funding requirement is so minimal. It should be financed first by the
proponent with the help of Hon. Mercy J. Limbaga, a Barangay Councilor and at the
same time Chairman of the Committee on Education who help in planning & leading
the Income Generating Parent-Teacher Association (IGPTA) force for the smooth
implementation and delivery of the project.
VII. MONITORING AND EVALUATION PLAN:
This project will be evaluated based on income and commitment of parents
and pupils in bringing out coconut shell. For the 1 st trimester, the monitoring will be
from September to November 2023 and the evaluation will be from the month of
November 2023. For the 2nd trimester, started in December 2023 to February 2024,
the monitoring will be on February 2024 and for the last trimester, started on March
2023 to May 2024, the evaluation will be on May 2024 (purchasing of teaching &
learning materials and sports equipment). The monitoring will be administered by
the school principal, Mrs. Hanzel L. Bontigao and the Division IGP Coordinator,
Mrs. Arlene D. Manginsay.
VIII. PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:
This Income Generating Project entitled “Charcoal Making and Selling for a
Learning Materials and Sports Equipment” starts by asking permission by the project
proponent from the School Principal Hanzel L. Bontigao, Chief Governance
Implementation Division Ma. Carmela T. Ablin, and Schools Division
Superintendent Edwin R. Maribojoc, Ed D CESO V to implement the said Income
Generating Project in Palao Elementary School.
During the implementation, the project proponent will conduct a meeting with
the pupils together with the parents to discuss matters regarding the said project that
is to bring, gather, collect, and donate unused coconut shell from their farmlands.
After gathering enough coconut shell, they will learn how to make charcoal by way
of recycling. Of course, they will be observed how to care for the environment by
way of clean-up drive within school premises. The income generated from the
project will be used to purchase teaching materials, learning resources and sports
equipment.
IX. PROJECT IMPACT:
The knowledge, skills, and values they learned can be a source of income to
generate funds for school activities and projects.
