UNITED NATIONS MONTH CELEBRATION

October 2023

INTRODUCTION
The month of October has been declared as United Nations Month. The United Nations
Day, on 24 October, marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter. To
express the celebration, at school level, it has become a regular practice that students and
teachers come together and celebrate the day showcasing the different countries.

In connection with this, the Araling Panlipunan Department proposed the following
activities:

I. OPENING ACTIVITY: Parade of Countries (October 10, 2023)

II. TRIVIA QUESTIONS PER WEEK


Week 1 (October 9-13, 2023) c/o Richel Lobino
Week 2 (October 16 – 20, 2023) c/o Gretchell Penales
Week 3 (October 23-27, 2023) c/o Faith Nisnisan

Mechanics:
1. Assigned Teachers will provide trivia question to the Adviser. (every
Monday)
2. This Trivia Question will be posted inside the classroom.
3. We will provide answer sheet to the advisers.
4. The Advisers will collect the answer sheet (with answers from
students/learners) and will drop in the box placed inside the Music
Room.

AWARDS/AWARDING
1. There will be 3 winners per week. (Total Winners: 9)
2. It will be drawn during the culmination day (Tentative: October 27,
2023)
3. Winners will be given Recognition Certificate and Gift Packs.

III. FILM SHOWING (EVERY LRCP TIME 2:40 – 4:00 P.M.)


Mechanics:
1. The Araling Panlipunan/UCSP/Political Science Teachers will require their
students/learners to watch the Film Showing set by the Araling Panlipunan
Department.
2. Movie/Film Showing will be done during LRCP Time (2:40 – 4:00 P.M.) Movie Title :
