Dear Ms. Voelkel,
I recently read an article on Medium about the advances in Manufacturing by implementing
AI and the challenges involved. One of the bigger challenges mentioned was the steep
learning curve and the massive cost in upskilling the employees. This led me to search for
companies that apply UX practices to design the interfaces, only to find out that the list
was surprisingly very short. This is why I’m excited to learn about the forward-thinking
vision of AiSight, to not just focus on creating the technology to increase machine uptimes
but also on empowering the users by making the technology accessible, and I would love
the opportunity to be part of achieving this goal.
As a UX/UI Designer with a background in Engineering and Business Management, my
design process involves combining Systems Thinking and Design-Thinking Approaches to
identify and anticipate opportunities and problems by understanding the users, the
product and the broader environment in which they operate, in order to design meaningful
and intuitive digital interfaces that allow the users to meet their goals. My work on the
Expert App helped me gain strong practical experience in End-to-End design of a Mobile
App, starting from solid User Research to creating pixel-perfect mockups using Sketch and
building a Design Language System ready for developer handoff. Designing the Fitness
App provided me with the valuable experience of building on existing User Research to
create a responsive design and pixel-perfect visual interface using Figma, including
creating a Design Language System.
Altogether, the collective experience of working on diverse projects and my love of
continuous learning coupled with my passion to design meaningful and viable solutions
drive me to continuously evolve as a designer. I strongly believe that my skills, design
approaches and passion align with the vision of AiSight and I would be an asset to your
team.
