‭INTRODUCTION‬

‭There‬‭is‬‭no‬‭country‬‭in‬‭existence‬‭that‬‭is‬‭not‬‭facing‬‭a‬‭problem.‬‭Whether‬‭that‬‭difficulty‬
‭is‬‭huge,‬‭whether‬‭it‬‭is‬‭small,‬‭it‬‭is‬‭still‬‭a‬‭phenomena‬‭that‬‭affects‬‭the‬‭nation‬‭and‬‭the‬‭people‬‭living‬
‭in‬ ‭it.‬ ‭One‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭biggest‬ ‭problems‬ ‭a‬ ‭country‬‭could‬‭have‬‭is‬‭the‬‭price‬‭increase‬‭or‬‭economical‬
‭crisis‬ ‭in-general.‬ ‭An‬ ‭Economical‬ ‭Crisis‬ ‭is‬ ‭a‬ ‭situation‬ ‭in‬ ‭which‬ ‭the‬ ‭economy‬ ‭of‬ ‭a‬ ‭country‬
‭experiences‬ ‭a‬ ‭sudden‬ ‭downturn‬ ‭in‬‭its‬‭aggregate‬‭output‬‭or‬‭real‬‭gross‬‭domestic‬‭product.‬‭With‬
‭this‬ ‭economical‬ ‭crisis,‬ ‭it‬ ‭affects‬ ‭the‬ ‭people‬ ‭who‬ ‭live‬ ‭in‬ ‭one‬ ‭country.‬ ‭The‬ ‭supply‬ ‭chain‬
‭disruptions‬ ‭caused‬ ‭by‬ ‭the‬ ‭COVID-19‬ ‭outbreak‬ ‭have‬ ‭led‬ ‭to‬ ‭changes‬‭in‬‭food‬‭prices‬‭globally.‬
‭According‬ ‭to‬ ‭Bairagi,‬ ‭et‬ ‭al.‬ ‭(2022),‬ ‭Inflation‬ ‭affects‬ ‭not‬‭only‬‭the‬‭area‬‭of‬‭prices‬‭but‬‭directly‬
‭and‬‭indirectly‬‭touches‬‭the‬‭various‬‭areas‬‭of‬‭social‬‭life,‬‭causing‬‭Commodity‬‭prices‬‭to‬‭be‬‭volatile‬
‭as‬‭well‬‭as‬‭most‬‭of‬‭the‬‭commodity‬‭exchanges‬‭being‬‭volatile‬‭and‬‭dynamic.‬‭It‬‭affects‬‭the‬‭domain‬
‭of‬‭specific‬‭fields.‬‭Commodity‬‭prices‬‭have‬‭become‬‭volatile‬‭over‬‭the‬‭past‬‭2‬‭decades,‬‭and‬‭their‬
‭recent‬ ‭sharp‬ ‭decline‬ ‭has‬ ‭decreased‬ ‭the‬ ‭consumer‬ ‭price‬ ‭index‬ ‭inflation‬ ‭rates‬ ‭for‬ ‭most‬
‭economies.‬ ‭The‬ ‭negative‬ ‭impact‬ ‭on‬ ‭production‬ ‭through‬ ‭the‬ ‭decline‬ ‭of‬ ‭producer‬ ‭prices‬ ‭has‬
‭attracted‬‭considerable‬‭attention.‬‭Given‬‭this‬‭situation,‬‭policymakers‬‭have‬‭become‬‭increasingly‬
‭concerned‬ ‭about‬ ‭measuring‬ ‭the‬ ‭magnitude‬ ‭of‬ ‭price‬ ‭shock‬ ‭diffusion‬ ‭on‬ ‭a‬ ‭country’s‬ ‭various‬
‭inflationary indicators (Okimoto & Tatsuyoshi, 2017).‬

‭Almost‬‭all‬‭people,‬‭especially‬‭students,‬‭are‬‭suffering‬‭and‬‭affected‬‭by‬‭the‬‭crisis.‬‭Some‬
‭people‬ ‭blame‬ ‭the‬ ‭government‬ ‭and‬ ‭those‬ ‭people‬ ‭who‬ ‭have‬ ‭the‬ ‭power.‬ ‭However,‬ ‭most‬ ‭of‬‭us‬
‭think‬ ‭that‬ ‭this‬ ‭problem‬ ‭was‬ ‭because‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭Covid-19‬ ‭pandemic.‬ ‭Today,‬ ‭Filipinos‬ ‭are‬ ‭still‬
‭recovering‬‭from‬‭the‬‭crisis,‬‭and‬‭they‬‭are‬‭slowly‬‭living‬‭in‬‭a‬‭new‬‭normal.‬‭It‬‭is‬‭slowly‬‭going‬‭back‬
‭to‬ ‭the‬ ‭days‬ ‭we‬ ‭used‬ ‭to‬ ‭have.‬ ‭Slowly‬ ‭not‬ ‭wearing‬ ‭face‬ ‭masks,‬ ‭allowing‬ ‭people‬ ‭to‬ ‭attend‬
‭gatherings,‬ ‭not‬ ‭having‬ ‭social‬ ‭distancing,‬ ‭and‬ ‭having‬ ‭face-to-face‬ ‭classes‬ ‭at‬ ‭all‬ ‭levels.‬
‭Furthermore,‬ ‭the‬ ‭Philippines‬ ‭now‬ ‭suffers‬ ‭from‬ ‭the‬‭rising‬‭prices‬‭of‬‭commodities‬‭are‬‭not‬‭just‬
‭parents‬‭and‬‭adults‬‭are‬‭affected‬‭but‬‭also‬‭students.‬‭This‬‭study‬‭was‬‭made‬‭in‬‭order‬‭to‬‭know‬‭how‬
‭this crisis affects the lives of Filipinos, especially its students.‬

‭Therefore,‬‭this‬‭study‬‭was‬‭conducted‬‭to‬‭know‬‭what‬‭are‬‭the‬‭effects‬‭of‬‭increasing‬‭prices‬
‭of‬ ‭commodities‬ ‭on‬ ‭the‬ ‭social‬ ‭behavior‬ ‭of‬ ‭students‬ ‭at‬‭Luis‬‭Y‬‭Ferrer‬‭Jr.‬‭Senior‬‭High‬‭School.‬
‭The‬ ‭researchers‬ ‭also‬ ‭conducted‬ ‭this‬ ‭study‬ ‭to‬ ‭find‬ ‭out‬ ‭what‬ ‭strategies‬ ‭they‬ ‭have‬ ‭for‬ ‭coping‬
‭with‬‭this‬‭crisis.‬‭Lastly,‬‭as‬‭we‬‭focus‬‭more‬‭on‬‭this‬‭research,‬‭we‬‭gain‬‭more‬‭pieces‬‭of‬‭knowledge‬

‭5‬
‭about‬‭it,‬‭and‬‭as‬‭we‬‭gain‬‭knowledge‬‭about‬‭it,‬‭we‬‭could‬‭have‬‭possibilities‬‭to‬‭create‬‭alternative‬
‭solutions to this problem that could help the students.‬

‭Statement of the Problem‬

‭The‬‭main‬‭problem‬‭of‬‭this‬‭study‬‭is‬‭to‬‭find‬‭out‬‭and‬‭explain‬‭how‬‭the‬‭students‬‭of‬‭Luis‬‭Y.‬
‭Ferrer‬
‭Senior High School are facing and overcoming this problem.‬

‭This research aims to solve the following questions‬

‭a.‬ ‭What are the experiences of students regarding this issue?‬

‭b.‬ ‭How does the rise of commodities affect the social behavior of students?‬
‭c.‬ ‭What steps could they take to address this issue as students?‬
‭d.‬ ‭What‬ ‭steps‬‭must‬‭the‬‭school‬‭do‬‭in‬‭order‬‭to‬‭address‬‭this‬‭issue‬‭and‬‭those‬‭students‬‭who‬
‭are deeply affected by it?‬
‭e.‬ ‭Why‬ ‭is‬ ‭it‬ ‭significant‬ ‭for‬ ‭us‬ ‭students‬ ‭to‬ ‭observe‬ ‭the‬ ‭price‬ ‭increase‬ ‭of‬ ‭commodities‬
‭services in our country?‬

‭Scope and Delimitation of the Study‬

‭Definition of Terms‬

‭For‬‭a‬‭better‬‭understanding‬‭of‬‭this‬‭study,‬‭the‬‭following‬‭terms‬‭are‬‭defined‬‭in‬‭the‬‭context‬
‭of this research.‬

‭Price‬
‭-‬ ‭It‬ ‭is‬ ‭the‬ ‭amount‬ ‭of‬ ‭money‬ ‭given‬ ‭or‬ ‭set‬ ‭as‬ ‭consideration‬ ‭for‬ ‭the‬ ‭sale‬ ‭of‬ ‭a‬ ‭specified‬
‭thing. The cost at which something is obtained.‬

‭Commodities‬
‭-‬ ‭It‬ ‭is‬ ‭a‬ ‭basic‬ ‭good‬ ‭used‬‭in‬‭commerce‬‭that‬‭is‬‭interchangeable‬‭with‬‭other‬‭goods‬‭of‬‭the‬

‭-‬ ‭The way people interact with and influence other individuals.‬

‭Increase‬
‭-‬ ‭A word that means an instance growing and becoming progressively greater.‬

‭7‬
‭Significance of the Study‬‭:‬

‭The‬‭findings‬‭of‬‭this‬‭study‬‭will‬‭provide‬‭substantial‬‭discoveries‬‭that‬‭are‬‭both‬‭highly‬
‭beneficial to the following:‬

‭Students.‬
‭Through‬ ‭the‬ ‭help‬ ‭of‬ ‭this‬ ‭study,‬ ‭students‬ ‭will‬ ‭know‬ ‭why‬ ‭it‬ ‭is‬ ‭important‬ ‭to‬ ‭have‬
‭enough‬ ‭knowledge‬ ‭about‬ ‭this‬ ‭topic‬ ‭and‬ ‭this‬ ‭study‬ ‭will‬ ‭give‬ ‭information.‬ ‭It‬ ‭also‬ ‭gives‬
‭guidelines for those students who are experiencing the same problem.‬

‭Parents‬‭.‬
‭As‬ ‭a‬ ‭result‬ ‭of‬ ‭this‬ ‭study,‬ ‭parents‬ ‭will‬ ‭know‬ ‭if‬ ‭their‬ ‭children‬ ‭encountered‬ ‭the‬ ‭same‬
‭problem‬‭and‬‭give‬‭them‬‭more‬‭time‬‭and‬‭attention.‬‭Parents‬‭can‬‭also‬‭help‬‭their‬‭children‬‭in‬‭coping‬
‭with the challenges that they encounter.‬

‭Teachers.‬
‭Through‬ ‭this‬ ‭study,‬ ‭teachers‬ ‭will‬ ‭be‬ ‭able‬ ‭to‬ ‭have‬ ‭a‬ ‭deeper‬ ‭understanding‬ ‭of‬ ‭this‬
‭study‬ ‭and‬ ‭for‬ ‭them‬ ‭to‬ ‭assess‬ ‭themselves‬ ‭to‬ ‭develop‬‭some‬‭remedies‬‭that‬‭might‬‭help‬‭them‬‭to‬
‭overcome‬‭this‬‭problem.‬‭Through‬‭this‬‭research,‬‭teachers‬‭may‬‭purposely‬‭discover‬‭how‬‭the‬‭Price‬
‭Increase of Commodities Services affects the Social Behaviors of the students.‬

‭Future researchers.‬
‭This‬ ‭study‬ ‭is‬ ‭very‬ ‭important‬ ‭to‬ ‭students‬ ‭and‬ ‭teachers‬ ‭in‬ ‭terms‬ ‭of‬ ‭getting‬ ‭enough‬
‭knowledge‬ ‭about‬ ‭the‬ ‭Price‬ ‭Increase‬ ‭of‬ ‭Commodities‬ ‭Services‬ ‭and‬ ‭how‬ ‭to‬ ‭cope‬ ‭with‬
‭challenges,‬ ‭future‬ ‭researchers‬ ‭who‬ ‭are‬ ‭interested‬ ‭in‬ ‭this‬ ‭topic‬ ‭can‬‭get‬‭an‬‭idea‬‭regarding‬‭the‬
‭research‬ ‭they‬ ‭will‬ ‭do‬ ‭about‬ ‭this‬ ‭topic.‬ ‭In‬ ‭conclusion,‬ ‭they‬ ‭can‬ ‭use‬ ‭this‬ ‭as‬ ‭their‬ ‭basis‬ ‭and‬
‭references.‬

‭8‬
‭(thematic)‬

‭Over‬‭the‬‭years,‬‭the‬‭Price‬‭Increase‬‭of‬‭Commodities‬‭Services‬‭affects‬‭the‬‭social‬‭behavior‬
‭of‬ ‭society,‬ ‭most‬ ‭especially‬ ‭the‬ ‭students.‬ ‭An‬ ‭example‬ ‭of‬ ‭this‬ ‭is‬ ‭the‬ ‭price‬ ‭increase‬ ‭in‬
‭transportation‬‭fares.‬‭According‬‭to‬‭Dela‬‭Cruz‬‭(2022),‬‭the‬‭price‬‭increase‬‭in‬‭transportation‬‭fares‬
‭caused‬ ‭by‬ ‭the‬ ‭increased‬ ‭price‬ ‭of‬ ‭gas‬ ‭affects‬ ‭the‬ ‭people‬ ‭who‬ ‭are‬ ‭commuting‬ ‭every‬ ‭day.‬ ‭In‬
‭2018‬‭,‬‭the‬‭Philippines‬‭had‬‭the‬‭highest‬‭inflation‬‭rate‬‭among‬‭the‬‭10‬‭South‬‭East‬‭Asian‬‭countries.‬
‭According‬‭to‬‭Urrutia‬‭(2021),‬‭the‬‭Inflation‬‭rate‬‭is‬‭the‬‭proceeding‬‭rise‬‭within‬‭the‬‭common‬‭level‬
‭of‬‭costs‬‭of‬‭products‬‭and‬‭services‬‭in‬‭an‬‭economy‬‭over‬‭certain‬‭years.‬‭The‬‭inflation‬‭rate‬‭or‬‭rising‬
‭prices‬ ‭of‬ ‭commodities‬ ‭in‬ ‭the‬ ‭Philippines‬ ‭is‬ ‭forecasted‬ ‭to‬ ‭be‬ ‭at‬ ‭7.05‬‭%‬ ‭by‬ ‭the‬ ‭end‬ ‭of‬ ‭2018‬
‭whereas‬ ‭the‬ ‭highest‬ ‭predicted‬ ‭value‬ ‭is‬ ‭8.93‬‭%‬ ‭in‬ ‭2022‬‭.‬ ‭Using‬ ‭the‬ ‭forecast‬ ‭error‬ ‭criterion,‬
‭ARIMA‬‭was‬‭identified‬‭to‬‭be‬‭the‬‭best‬‭fit‬‭having‬‭a‬‭prediction‬‭of‬‭a‬‭4.60‬‭%‬‭inflation‬‭rate‬‭in‬‭2018‬‭.‬
‭Looking‬ ‭forward,‬ ‭a‬ ‭5.21‬‭%‬ ‭inflation‬ ‭rate‬ ‭in‬ ‭the‬ ‭next‬ ‭twelve‬ ‭months‬ ‭is‬ ‭projected‬‭(Delima‬‭&‬
‭Lumintac,‬ ‭2019).‬ ‭Understanding‬ ‭the‬ ‭demand‬ ‭and‬ ‭supply‬ ‭sources‬ ‭of‬ ‭inflation‬ ‭pressures.‬
‭Qualitatively,‬ ‭indicators‬ ‭have‬ ‭pointed‬ ‭to‬ ‭evidence‬ ‭of‬ ‭inflation‬ ‭pressures‬ ‭from‬ ‭both‬ ‭sides‬ ‭in‬
‭2018‬‭,‬ ‭with‬ ‭the‬ ‭supply‬ ‭factors,‬ ‭by‬ ‭and‬ ‭large,‬ ‭associated‬ ‭with‬ ‭commodity-price‬ ‭shocks‬ ‭and‬
‭demand‬ ‭factors‬ ‭deduced‬ ‭from‬ ‭gleaning‬ ‭at‬ ‭the‬ ‭wider‬ ‭non-oil‬ ‭trade‬ ‭deficits‬ ‭seen‬ ‭in‬ ‭the‬
‭Philippines.‬ ‭According‬ ‭to‬ ‭Guo‬ ‭et‬ ‭al.‬ ‭(2019)‬‭,‬ ‭as‬ ‭2022‬ ‭started,‬ ‭it‬ ‭explicitly‬ ‭treats‬ ‭the‬ ‭spatial‬
‭heterogeneity‬ ‭in‬ ‭food‬ ‭inflation‬ ‭and‬ ‭the‬ ‭differences‬ ‭in‬ ‭consumption‬ ‭expenditure‬ ‭survey‬ ‭and‬
‭price‬ ‭datasets‬ ‭at‬ ‭the‬ ‭provincial‬ ‭level‬ ‭or‬ ‭lower.‬ ‭Although‬ ‭some‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭poor‬ ‭agricultural‬
‭households‬ ‭may‬ ‭have‬ ‭escaped‬ ‭poverty,‬ ‭the‬ ‭poorest‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭poor,‬ ‭whether‬ ‭they‬ ‭are‬ ‭in‬ ‭an‬
‭agricultural‬‭household‬‭or‬‭not,‬‭are‬‭severely‬‭affected‬‭by‬‭the‬‭increasing‬‭price‬‭of‬‭commodities‬‭in‬
‭terms of food and fares (Fujii, 2013).‬

‭According‬‭to‬‭Jared‬‭(‬‭2022),‬‭Commodities‬‭can‬‭be‬‭broadly‬‭categorized‬‭into‬‭four‬‭groups:‬
‭agriculture,‬ ‭livestock,‬ ‭energy,‬ ‭and‬ ‭metals.‬ ‭Usually,‬ ‭these‬ ‭commodities‬ ‭are‬ ‭utilized‬ ‭as‬ ‭raw‬
‭materials‬‭for‬‭producing‬‭food‬‭or‬‭other‬‭items,‬‭which‬‭can‬‭be‬‭consumed‬‭by‬‭both‬‭individuals‬‭and‬
‭businesses.‬ ‭According‬ ‭to‬ ‭Filippo‬ ‭(2022),‬ ‭the‬ ‭current‬ ‭surge‬ ‭in‬‭commodity‬‭prices‬‭is‬‭affecting‬
‭people‬‭due‬‭to‬‭increased‬‭prices‬‭of‬‭energy‬‭and‬‭food‬‭imports.‬‭Because‬‭of‬‭this,‬‭almost‬‭all‬‭people‬
‭are‬ ‭affected‬ ‭not‬ ‭only‬ ‭the‬ ‭parents,‬ ‭the‬ ‭businessman/woman‬ ‭but‬ ‭also‬ ‭the‬ ‭students‬ ‭who‬ ‭are‬
‭experiencing‬‭this‬‭issue.‬‭Also,‬‭Chen‬‭&‬‭Liu‬‭(2019)‬‭said‬‭that‬‭the‬‭effects‬‭of‬‭price‬‭increases‬‭on‬‭the‬

‭The Effect on Students of Price Increase of Commodities Services‬

‭ aving an extreme price increase of commodities services in one’s country affects all‬
H
‭the people living in it. Therefore, there are challenges that Filipinos, especially students,‬
‭experience by facing and overcoming this problem.‬

‭Poverty‬
‭Poverty‬‭takes‬‭a‬‭big‬‭part‬‭in‬‭the‬‭students‬‭facing‬‭the‬‭challenges‬‭brought‬‭by‬‭the‬‭increase‬‭of‬
‭prices‬ ‭in‬ ‭commodities‬ ‭services.‬ ‭It‬ ‭affects‬ ‭them‬ ‭in‬ ‭every‬ ‭possible‬ ‭way.‬ ‭For‬ ‭instance,‬ ‭most‬
‭students‬ ‭are‬ ‭unable‬ ‭to‬ ‭study‬ ‭because‬ ‭of‬ ‭Poverty.‬ ‭But‬ ‭students‬ ‭who‬ ‭live‬ ‭in‬ ‭poverty‬ ‭are‬ ‭less‬
‭likely‬ ‭to‬ ‭have‬ ‭growth‬ ‭mindsets.‬ ‭Instead,‬ ‭they‬ ‭have‬ ‭what‬ ‭researchers‬ ‭call‬ ‭a‬ ‭“fixed‬‭mindset”‬
‭(Thompson & Wilson, 2016).‬

‭The‬‭increase‬‭of‬‭prices‬‭in‬ ‭the‬ ‭past‬‭years‬ ‭in‬ ‭many‬ ‭countries‬‭has‬‭been‬‭in‬ ‭general.‬‭The‬

‭impact‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭crisis‬ ‭seems‬ ‭to‬ ‭be‬ ‭more‬ ‭at‬ ‭post-compulsory‬ ‭levels‬ ‭of‬ ‭education.‬ ‭It‬ ‭is‬ ‭the‬
‭middle-income‬ ‭group‬ ‭that‬ ‭provides‬ ‭the‬ ‭traditional‬ ‭client‬ ‭for‬‭higher‬‭education‬‭and‬‭it‬‭is‬‭the‬

‭10‬
‭most‬ ‭adversely‬‭affected‬‭group‬‭as‬‭a‬‭result‬‭of‬‭the‬‭decline‬‭in‬‭formal-sector‬‭employment‬‭during‬
‭the crisis period‬‭(Hassan, 2001).‬

‭There‬‭are‬‭several‬‭factors‬‭involved‬‭that‬‭play‬‭a‬‭part‬‭in‬‭students’‬‭performance‬‭as‬‭follows:‬
‭health‬ ‭and‬ ‭nutrition,‬ ‭vocabulary,‬ ‭effort,‬ ‭hope-and-growth‬ ‭mindset,‬ ‭cognition,‬ ‭relationships,‬
‭and‬ ‭distress.‬ ‭Students‬ ‭in‬ ‭poverty‬ ‭are‬ ‭more‬ ‭likely‬ ‭to‬ ‭be‬ ‭exposed‬ ‭to‬ ‭food‬ ‭with‬ ‭little‬ ‭to‬ ‭no‬
‭nutritional‬ ‭value‬ ‭which‬ ‭affects‬ ‭cognitive‬ ‭functioning‬ ‭which,‬ ‭in‬ ‭turn,‬ ‭has‬ ‭adverse‬ ‭effects‬ ‭on‬
‭academic‬ ‭achievement.‬ ‭Limited‬ ‭vocabulary‬ ‭also‬ ‭affects‬ ‭academic‬ ‭ability‬ ‭and‬ ‭exposure‬ ‭to‬
‭language is less likely in low socioeconomic cases (Pungello et al., 2009).‬

‭According‬‭to‬‭Dadrah‬‭(2023),‬‭students’‬‭mental‬‭health‬‭is‬‭already‬‭affected‬‭by‬‭loneliness,‬
‭anxiety,‬‭and‬‭stress‬‭from‬‭having‬‭this‬‭kind‬‭of‬‭situation.‬‭The‬‭increase‬‭in‬‭essential‬‭costs,‬‭such‬‭as‬
‭fares‬ ‭and‬ ‭food,‬ ‭has‬ ‭led‬ ‭students‬ ‭to‬ ‭become‬ ‭more‬ ‭anxious‬ ‭about‬ ‭their‬ ‭spending.‬ ‭Also,‬ ‭it‬ ‭is‬
‭difficult‬‭to‬‭plan‬‭far‬‭ahead‬‭over‬‭how‬‭to‬‭manage‬‭the‬‭finances‬‭when‬‭you‬‭are‬‭worrying‬‭about‬‭the‬
‭present situation.‬

‭Daily Expenses: Price Increase of Goods and Fares‬

‭According‬ ‭to‬ ‭a‬ ‭study‬ ‭by‬ ‭Hossain‬ ‭&‬ ‭Rahman‬ ‭(2019),‬ ‭an‬ ‭increase‬ ‭in‬ ‭the‬ ‭price‬ ‭of‬
‭commodities‬ ‭and‬ ‭services‬ ‭can‬ ‭affect‬ ‭the‬ ‭social‬ ‭behavior‬ ‭of‬ ‭students‬ ‭in‬ ‭various‬ ‭ways.‬ ‭For‬
‭example,‬ ‭students‬ ‭may‬ ‭reduce‬ ‭their‬ ‭participation‬ ‭in‬ ‭social‬ ‭activities‬ ‭that‬ ‭require‬ ‭spending‬
‭money,‬‭such‬‭as‬‭going‬‭to‬‭the‬‭movies‬‭or‬‭eating‬‭out‬‭with‬‭friends.‬‭This‬‭can‬‭lead‬‭to‬‭a‬‭decrease‬‭in‬
‭their‬ ‭social‬ ‭interaction‬ ‭and‬ ‭may‬‭affect‬‭their‬‭mental‬‭health‬‭and‬‭well-being.‬‭Additionally,‬ ‭the‬
‭price‬ ‭increases‬ ‭may‬ ‭lead‬ ‭to‬ ‭increased‬ ‭stress‬ ‭and‬ ‭anxiety‬ ‭for‬ ‭students‬‭who‬‭rely‬‭on‬‭part-time‬
‭jobs‬ ‭or‬‭financial‬‭aid‬‭to‬‭pay‬‭for‬‭their‬‭expenses.‬‭There‬‭are‬‭different‬‭impacts‬‭of‬‭price‬‭increases‬
‭on‬‭the‬‭consumption‬‭to‬‭the‬‭behavior‬‭of‬‭students.‬‭The‬‭study‬‭found‬‭that‬‭students‬‭tend‬‭to‬‭reduce‬
‭their‬ ‭spending‬ ‭on‬ ‭non-essential‬ ‭items,‬ ‭such‬‭as‬‭luxury‬‭goods‬‭and‬‭entertainment,‬‭when‬‭prices‬
‭increase.‬ ‭However,‬ ‭students‬‭may‬‭also‬‭resort‬‭to‬‭other‬‭measures,‬‭such‬‭as‬‭borrowing‬‭money‬‭or‬
‭cutting‬ ‭back‬ ‭on‬ ‭basic‬ ‭necessities,‬ ‭to‬ ‭maintain‬ ‭their‬ ‭standard‬ ‭of‬ ‭living.‬ ‭This‬ ‭can‬ ‭lead‬ ‭to‬
‭financial‬ ‭strain‬ ‭and‬‭may‬‭affect‬‭to‬‭their‬‭academic‬‭performance‬‭and‬‭social‬‭relationships‬‭to‬‭the‬
‭others.‬

‭A‬‭study‬‭by‬‭Chua‬‭(2019),‬‭found‬‭that‬‭price‬‭increases‬‭can‬‭have‬‭a‬‭disproportionate‬‭impact‬
‭on‬ ‭low-income‬ ‭students,‬ ‭who‬ ‭may‬‭already‬‭be‬‭struggling‬‭to‬‭make‬‭ends‬‭meet.‬‭These‬‭students‬
‭may‬ ‭be‬ ‭more‬ ‭likely‬ ‭to‬ ‭experience‬ ‭financial‬ ‭stress‬ ‭and‬ ‭social‬ ‭isolation‬ ‭as‬ ‭a‬ ‭result‬ ‭of‬ ‭price‬
‭increases, which can further exacerbate existing inequalities.‬

‭11‬
‭According‬‭to‬‭an‬‭article‬‭stated‬‭by‬‭Frankenberg‬‭(2003),‬‭an‬‭economic‬‭crisis‬‭impacts‬‭the‬
‭students‬ ‭in‬ ‭buying‬ ‭their‬ ‭school‬ ‭supplies‬ ‭and‬ ‭other‬ ‭necessary‬ ‭things‬ ‭for‬ ‭school‬ ‭including‬
‭papers,‬ ‭books,‬ ‭pens,‬ ‭and‬ ‭other‬ ‭things‬ ‭since‬ ‭the‬ ‭prices‬ ‭of‬ ‭these‬ ‭are‬‭increasing.‬‭In‬‭facing‬‭the‬
‭Price Increase, inflation and rising prices of public transportation fares are associated.‬

‭Another‬ ‭part‬ ‭of‬ ‭inflation‬ ‭was‬ ‭the‬ ‭rising‬ ‭of‬ ‭tuition‬ ‭fees‬ ‭and‬ ‭other‬ ‭educational‬ ‭fees.‬
‭Varghese‬ ‭(2001)‬ ‭said‬ ‭that‬ ‭in‬ ‭the‬ ‭period‬ ‭of‬ ‭economic‬ ‭crisis,‬ ‭many‬ ‭parents‬ ‭shifted‬ ‭their‬
‭children‬ ‭from‬ ‭high-fee-paying‬ ‭private‬ ‭schools‬ ‭or‬ ‭universities‬ ‭to‬ ‭public‬ ‭schools‬ ‭or‬
‭universities.‬ ‭This‬ ‭has‬ ‭led‬ ‭to‬ ‭a‬ ‭decline‬ ‭in‬ ‭enrolment‬ ‭in‬‭private‬‭colleges.‬‭Some‬‭of‬‭the‬‭private‬
‭schools‬‭reduced‬‭fees‬‭to‬‭retain‬‭the‬‭students.‬‭The‬‭results‬‭show‬‭that‬‭since‬‭2003‬‭,‬‭price‬‭increases‬
‭have led to greater suffering for the poor, particularly the ultra-poor (Son, 2008).‬

‭Lack of Support: Education and General‬

‭The‬‭economic‬‭crisis‬‭of‬‭recent‬‭years‬‭has‬‭had‬‭significant‬‭effects‬‭on‬‭students'‬‭financial‬
‭situations,‬ ‭which‬ ‭can‬ ‭impact‬ ‭their‬‭academic‬‭performance‬‭and‬‭overall‬‭well-being.‬‭According‬
‭to‬ ‭a‬ ‭study‬ ‭by‬ ‭Castelló-Climent‬ ‭(2015),‬ ‭economic‬ ‭recessions‬ ‭can‬ ‭lead‬ ‭to‬‭increased‬‭levels‬‭of‬
‭poverty,‬‭unemployment,‬‭and‬‭inequality,‬‭which‬‭can‬‭create‬‭barriers‬‭to‬‭education‬‭for‬‭low-income‬
‭students.‬ ‭They‬ ‭argue‬ ‭that‬ ‭students‬ ‭from‬ ‭disadvantaged‬‭backgrounds‬‭are‬‭more‬‭likely‬‭to‬‭drop‬
‭out‬ ‭of‬ ‭school‬ ‭or‬ ‭fail‬ ‭to‬ ‭enroll‬ ‭in‬ ‭higher‬ ‭education‬ ‭due‬ ‭to‬ ‭financial‬ ‭constraints.‬ ‭Similarly,‬ ‭a‬
‭study‬ ‭by‬ ‭Addo‬ ‭et‬ ‭al.‬ ‭(2016),‬ ‭found‬ ‭that‬ ‭student‬ ‭loan‬ ‭debt‬ ‭is‬ ‭a‬ ‭growing‬ ‭concern‬ ‭for‬ ‭many‬
‭students, especially those from minority and low-income backgrounds.‬

‭Not only the students are affected by this, but also the teachers. According to Atienza‬
‭(2022),‬‭there‬‭are‬‭a‬‭lot‬‭of‬‭teachers‬‭who‬‭have‬‭been‬‭fired‬‭due‬‭to‬‭the‬‭economic‬‭issue‬‭back‬‭when‬
‭the‬ ‭Covid-19‬ ‭strikes‬ ‭since‬ ‭the‬ ‭government‬ ‭focused‬ ‭more‬ ‭on‬ ‭the‬ ‭students‬ ‭and‬ ‭income‬ ‭is‬
‭slowing‬‭down.‬‭And‬‭due‬‭to‬‭the‬‭Covid-19‬‭strikes‬‭in‬‭2019‬‭,‬‭many‬‭schools‬‭have‬‭begun‬‭to‬‭offer‬‭a‬
‭new‬ ‭learning‬ ‭modality‬ ‭which‬ ‭many‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭students‬ ‭argued‬ ‭about‬ ‭since‬ ‭they‬‭whether‬‭or‬‭not‬
‭able‬‭to‬‭have‬‭computers‬‭in‬‭order‬‭to‬‭join‬‭the‬‭online‬‭class‬‭or‬‭do‬‭not‬‭have‬‭enough‬‭money‬‭to‬‭buy‬
‭materials‬ ‭that‬‭they‬‭will‬‭be‬‭needing‬‭in‬‭their‬‭homes,‬‭and‬‭as‬‭of‬‭that‬‭many‬‭of‬‭the‬‭schools‬‭in‬‭the‬
‭Philippines face an ultimate rise of dropouts (Simeon, 2022).‬

‭12‬
‭According to an article stated by Varghese (2001), the impact of the crisis on‬
‭higher education will depend on the household response to the demand for education,‬
‭and public policy response to maintain priority to education. In general, a decline in‬
‭household incomes is associated with a decline in the income elasticity of demand for‬
‭education. The economic crisis has negative effects which cause loss of employment that will‬
‭have an immediate effect (‬‭reduction‬‭) to their income.‬‭Also, households tend to continue to‬
‭invest less in education partly due to the fact that they are more worried about survival than‬
‭investment. Investments in human capital take a long time to give results, which‬
‭households cannot cope with during periods of falling income. The unfortunate situation‬
‭is that the impact of the crisis may be in terms of a budget cut which contributes to a decline‬
‭in education. Greever (2014) said that poverty has an adverse effect on student performance‬
‭and studies have shown that students in poverty are below grade level at much higher rates‬
‭and that they generally have poor or average grades. These educational deficits provide a‬
‭serious handicap for students in poverty.‬

‭In‬‭conclusion,‬‭having‬‭the‬‭price‬‭increase‬‭of‬‭commodities‬‭services‬‭affects‬‭and‬‭impacts‬
‭students‬‭in‬‭general.‬‭They‬‭do‬‭not‬‭have‬‭a‬‭choice‬‭to‬‭face‬‭and‬‭overcome‬‭this‬‭problem‬‭since‬‭they‬
‭are‬ ‭not‬ ‭yet‬ ‭knowledgeable‬ ‭about‬ ‭this.‬ ‭Alip,‬ ‭Ph.D.‬ ‭(2022)‬ ‭said‬ ‭that‬ ‭instead‬ ‭of‬ ‭studying,‬
‭students‬ ‭have‬ ‭to‬ ‭work‬ ‭in‬ ‭order‬ ‭to‬ ‭provide‬‭for‬‭their‬‭families‬‭and‬‭overcome‬‭the‬‭reality‬‭of‬‭the‬
‭world.‬

‭(2020)‬ ‭explored‬ ‭the‬ ‭impact‬ ‭of‬ ‭price‬ ‭increases‬ ‭on‬ ‭commodities‬ ‭services‬ ‭can‬ ‭not‬‭just‬‭impact‬
‭academic‬ ‭performances‬ ‭but‬ ‭also‬ ‭social‬ ‭behavior‬‭as‬‭well.‬‭Students‬‭tend‬‭to‬‭experience‬‭higher‬
‭levels‬ ‭of‬ ‭stress‬ ‭and‬ ‭anxiety‬ ‭in‬ ‭experiencing‬ ‭this‬ ‭kind‬ ‭of‬ ‭issue‬ ‭and‬ ‭with‬ ‭this,‬ ‭they‬ ‭have‬ ‭no‬

‭their‬ ‭social‬ ‭interactions.‬ ‭This‬ ‭behaviour‬ ‭is‬ ‭a‬ ‭result‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭students'‬ ‭need‬ ‭to‬ ‭prioritize‬ ‭their‬
‭expenses,‬‭which‬‭leaves‬‭little‬‭to‬‭no‬‭room‬‭for‬‭leisure‬‭activities.‬‭Price‬‭increases‬‭of‬‭commodities‬
‭services‬ ‭cannot‬ ‭just‬ ‭impact‬ ‭businesses‬ ‭but‬ ‭also‬‭parents‬‭and‬‭students‬‭some‬‭of‬‭the‬‭mentioned‬
‭authors prove that it impacted their life, physically, mentally, and financially.‬

‭As‬‭the‬‭price‬‭increase‬‭of‬‭commodities‬‭is‬‭still‬‭present,‬‭more‬‭students‬‭are‬‭suffering,‬‭as‬‭they‬

‭Conclusion‬

‭In‬‭conclusion,‬‭there‬‭are‬‭so‬‭many‬‭studies‬‭that‬‭prove‬‭that‬‭the‬‭rise‬‭of‬‭commodities‬‭and‬
‭services‬‭can‬‭impact‬‭the‬‭social‬‭behavior‬‭of‬‭one‬‭student.‬‭Oladipo‬‭and‬‭Adetunji‬‭(2020)‬‭explored‬
‭the‬‭impact‬‭of‬‭price‬‭increases‬‭on‬‭commodities‬‭and‬‭services‬‭on‬‭not‬‭just‬‭academic‬‭performances‬
‭but‬ ‭also‬ ‭social‬ ‭behavior,‬ ‭finding‬ ‭that‬ ‭students‬ ‭tend‬‭to‬‭experience‬‭higher‬‭levels‬‭of‬‭stress‬‭and‬
‭anxiety‬ ‭when‬ ‭experiencing‬ ‭this‬‭kind‬‭of‬‭issue.‬‭Collins‬‭et‬‭al.,‬‭(2018)‬‭add‬‭that‬‭the‬‭study‬‭found‬
‭that‬ ‭when‬ ‭prices‬ ‭of‬ ‭essential‬ ‭goods‬ ‭such‬ ‭as‬ ‭food,‬ ‭transportation,‬ ‭and‬ ‭housing‬ ‭increase,‬
‭students‬‭tend‬‭to‬‭reduce‬‭their‬‭social‬‭interactions,‬‭such‬‭as‬‭going‬‭out‬‭with‬‭friends‬‭or‬‭participating‬
‭in‬‭extracurricular‬‭activities.‬‭The‬‭rising‬‭increase‬‭in‬‭commodities‬‭has‬‭a‬‭great‬‭impact‬‭not‬‭just‬‭on‬
‭the‬ ‭parents‬ ‭but‬ ‭also‬ ‭on‬ ‭the‬ ‭students,‬ ‭who‬ ‭are‬‭extremely‬‭affected‬‭by‬‭this‬‭problem‬‭because‬‭it‬
‭affects their social behavior and their academic performances in school as well.‬

‭However,‬‭a‬‭study‬‭found‬‭that‬‭while‬‭facing‬‭this‬‭crisis,‬‭students‬‭have‬‭coping‬‭mechanisms‬
‭that‬ ‭help‬ ‭them‬ ‭deal‬ ‭with‬ ‭or‬ ‭overcome‬ ‭it.‬ ‭A‬‭study‬‭by‬‭Fontinelle‬‭(2021),‬‭shows‬‭that‬‭students‬
‭should‬ ‭make‬ ‭a‬ ‭budget‬ ‭and‬ ‭minimize‬ ‭buying‬ ‭anything‬ ‭unnecessary‬ ‭and‬‭not‬‭important.‬‭They‬
‭should‬‭also‬‭look‬‭for‬‭part-time‬‭jobs‬‭that‬‭would‬‭give‬‭them‬‭extra‬‭cash‬‭for‬‭their‬‭needs‬‭without‬‭not‬
‭attending‬ ‭their‬ ‭classes‬ ‭(‬‭or‬ ‭not‬ ‭studying‬‭).‬ ‭According‬ ‭to‬‭Hes‬‭(2018),‬‭it‬‭is‬‭important‬‭to‬‭realize‬
‭that‬ ‭there‬ ‭are‬ ‭literally‬ ‭hundreds‬ ‭of‬ ‭ways‬ ‭to‬ ‭reduce‬ ‭your‬ ‭spending.‬ ‭For‬ ‭instance,‬ ‭buying‬
‭clothes,‬‭making‬‭sure‬‭it's‬‭within‬‭your‬‭budget,‬‭and‬‭avoiding‬‭eating‬‭expensive‬‭fast‬‭food‬‭if‬‭your‬
‭budget‬‭can't‬‭afford‬‭it‬‭Another‬‭one‬‭is‬‭to‬‭budget‬‭properly,‬‭which‬‭allows‬‭us,‬‭especially‬‭students,‬
‭to‬‭set‬‭aside‬‭the‬‭money‬‭we‬‭need‬‭for‬‭essentials‬‭such‬‭as‬‭groceries,‬‭transportation‬‭costs,‬‭and‬‭study‬
‭fees‬ ‭or‬ ‭tuition‬ ‭fees.‬ ‭Students‬ ‭are‬ ‭suffering‬ ‭from‬‭this‬‭issue,‬‭but‬‭it‬‭helps‬‭them‬‭to‬‭think‬‭wisely‬
‭and be mindful of their actions and decisions.‬

‭RESEARCH METHODOLOGY‬

‭This‬‭chapter‬‭presents‬‭the‬‭Research‬‭Methodologies‬‭which‬‭involve‬‭the‬‭Research‬‭Design‬
‭used‬ ‭in‬ ‭conducting‬ ‭this‬ ‭study.‬ ‭Apart‬ ‭from‬ ‭this,‬ ‭this‬ ‭also‬ ‭includes‬‭the‬‭Sampling‬‭Procedures,‬

‭Research Design‬

‭In‬ ‭conducting‬ ‭this‬ ‭study,‬ ‭the‬ ‭researchers'‬ ‭topic‬ ‭falls‬ ‭under‬ ‭the‬ ‭category‬ ‭of‬
‭phenomenology,‬‭in‬‭which‬‭the‬‭qualitative‬‭method‬‭is‬‭the‬‭best‬‭to‬‭use‬‭for‬‭this‬‭study.‬‭Qualitative‬
‭research‬ ‭is‬ ‭a‬ ‭process‬ ‭of‬ ‭naturalistic‬ ‭inquiry‬ ‭that‬ ‭seeks‬ ‭an‬ ‭in-depth‬ ‭understanding‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬
‭experiences‬‭and‬‭perspectives‬‭of‬‭social‬‭phenomena,‬‭or‬‭it‬‭is‬‭non-numerical‬‭data‬‭in‬‭gathering‬‭the‬
‭concept.‬ ‭That‬ ‭can‬ ‭help‬ ‭the‬ ‭researchers‬ ‭gather‬ ‭information‬ ‭or‬ ‭data.‬ ‭The‬ ‭phenomenological‬
‭study‬‭focuses‬‭on‬‭examining‬‭the‬‭experiences‬‭by‬‭providing‬‭descriptions‬‭of‬‭the‬‭people‬‭involved.‬
‭The‬‭goal‬‭of‬‭the‬‭phenomenological‬‭study‬‭is‬‭to‬‭find‬‭out‬‭or‬‭determine‬‭the‬‭experiences‬‭of‬‭people‬
‭regarding‬‭the‬‭problems‬‭that‬‭they‬‭are‬‭facing,‬‭which‬‭is‬‭the‬‭economic‬‭crisis,‬‭and‬‭it‬‭also‬‭focuses‬
‭on‬‭what‬‭strategies‬‭or‬‭coping‬‭mechanisms‬‭the‬‭students‬‭at‬‭Luis‬‭Y.‬‭Ferrer‬‭Jr.‬‭Senior‬‭High‬‭School‬
‭are using to overcome this.‬

‭Sampling Procedure‬

‭This‬‭study‬‭used‬‭purposive‬‭sampling‬‭in‬‭coping‬‭with‬‭the‬‭Price‬‭Increase‬‭of‬‭Commodities‬
‭Services‬ ‭and‬ ‭how‬ ‭this‬ ‭affect‬ ‭the‬ ‭Social‬ ‭Behavior‬ ‭faced‬ ‭by‬‭the‬‭students‬‭at‬‭Luis‬‭Y.‬‭Ferrer‬‭Jr.‬
‭Senior‬‭High‬‭School.‬‭This‬‭study‬‭will‬‭help‬‭and‬‭be‬‭a‬‭bridge‬‭in‬‭solving‬‭their‬‭problem‬‭and‬‭making‬
‭the‬ ‭new‬ ‭system‬ ‭easier‬ ‭and‬‭getting‬‭some‬‭strategies‬‭to‬‭cope‬‭with‬‭this‬‭new‬‭system‬‭and‬‭getting‬
‭ideas based on the experience of others.‬

‭Data Gathering Method‬

‭These are the applicable procedures we researchers should follow in gathering the data.‬

‭I.‬ ‭Before conducting a study on the respondents, the researchers should first ask‬
‭permission from the Principal of Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School.‬

‭19‬
‭II.‬ ‭Following the first (‬‭1‬‭) procedure, the researchers should also ask permission from the‬
‭respondents or participants if it is fine for them to give pieces of information. Apart‬
‭from this, the respondents should also fill out a form that they are willing to give their‬
‭own information to the researchers.‬
‭III.‬ ‭At this time, the researchers are now allowed to interview the respondents that they‬
‭choose. In here, respondents are going to be interviewed face-to-face and will be‬
‭required to answer the questions that the researchers have gathered.‬
‭IV.‬ ‭In addition to the third (‬‭3‭)‬ procedure, the researchers will ask questions that the‬
‭respondents are required to answer. The first set will consist of questions about the‬
‭challenges and experiences that they are facing in this crisis. The second set will be‬
‭about the coping strategies that they will do in overcoming this crisis. And lastly, this‬
‭set will consist of questions on what will they suggest that those people, especially‬
‭young ones, that are facing this kind of crisis in their lives could do about this.‬
‭V.‬ ‭After that, the researchers can finally summarize and organize all the data that they‬
‭had gathered. In addition to this, the researchers should also know how to analyze and‬
‭interpret the data that they have collected.‬

‭Instrument in Data Gathering‬

‭The instrument used to collect data was these questionnaires:‬

‭1.‬ ‭What kind of challenges do you mostly experience in facing the Price Increase in‬
‭Commodities Services?‬
‭2.‬ ‭How do students deal with Price Increases in Commodities Services?‬
‭3.‬ ‭What are the ways to overcome these situations?‬
‭4.‬ ‭How does a Price Increase affect the social behaviour of the students?‬
‭5.‬ ‭What are the causes of the Price Increase in Commodities Services?‬
‭6.‬ ‭What recommendations can be made to address this concern?‬

‭Ethical Issue‬

‭We‬‭will‬‭ensure‬‭that‬‭what‬‭they‬‭say‬‭is‬‭only‬‭used‬‭for‬‭our‬‭research,‬‭and‬‭we‬‭won't‬‭reveal‬
‭anything‬‭about‬‭them,‬‭including‬‭who‬‭they‬‭are;‬‭their‬‭name,‬‭or‬‭their‬‭identity.‬‭We‬‭also‬‭ensure‬‭that‬
‭the‬‭participants'‬‭privacy‬‭is‬‭protected‬‭by‬‭us‬‭and‬‭that‬‭all‬‭of‬‭their‬‭personal‬‭information‬‭is‬‭secure‬

‭20‬
‭from‬ ‭hackers,‬ ‭which‬‭is‬‭why‬‭we‬‭withhold‬‭all‬‭information‬‭about‬‭it.‬‭Because‬‭of‬‭this,‬‭when‬‭the‬
‭participant's identity is hidden, they are more likely to give truthful answers‬

‭Data Analysis‬

‭The‬‭qualitative‬‭data‬‭from‬‭the‬‭interviews‬‭and/or‬‭focused-group‬‭discussions‬‭were‬
‭analyzed‬‭through‬‭Lichtman’s‬‭3Cs‬‭of‬‭Analysis‬‭(Coding‬‭to‬‭Categorizing‬‭to‬‭Conceptualizing)‬‭to‬
‭generate the emerging themes.‬

‭The Financial Struggles & Difficulties of Students‬

‭ any students face significant financial‬‭struggles while pursuing their education,‬

M
‭often struggling to cover the costs of tuition, textbooks, and other living expenses. The lack of‬
‭financial resources can prevent students from participating in activities, and others that limit‬
‭their overall educational experience‬‭.‬‭Oladipo & Adetunji‬‭(2020) explored the impact of price‬
‭increases on commodities services can not just impact academic performances but also social‬
‭behaviour as well. Students tend to experience higher levels of stress and anxiety in‬
‭experiencing this kind of issue. Additionally, students who are struggling financially may‬
‭have to work more hours or take on additional jobs to make ends meet, leaving them with less‬
‭time to study and participate in social activities that can result in poor and low social‬
‭engagement.‬

‭ s what our Participant #1 stated that,‬‭“Pagkukulang‬‭sa pagba-budget… kasi yung‬

A

‭ he experience of‬‭Participant #1 said that there‬‭are shortcomings in budgeting‬

T
‭because sometimes there are unexpected price increases, like for example, today they’re‬
‭already budgeted a certain amount of money for the expenses, but if the prices rise, they’ll‬
‭end up short and run out of money allocated for that day. A study by Chua (2019), found that‬
‭price increases can have a disproportionate impact on low-income students, who may already‬
‭be struggling to make ends meet. These students may be more likely to experience financial‬
‭stress and social isolation as a result of price increases, which can further exacerbate existing‬
‭inequalities.‬

‭ ased on what Participant #2 said,‬‭“‭M

‭The experience of Participant #2 said that it is‬‭difficult for them, because prices have‬

‭23‬
r‭ isen, and they said that their parents' budget will be stretched since it covers their weekly‬
‭allowance, their school projects, and more. That’s why it’s challenging for them as a student,‬
‭as they didn’t have any earnings yet. Not all students are working students after all.‬
‭According to Alip, Ph.D. (2022) said that‬‭instead‬‭of studying, students have to work in order‬
‭to provide for their families and overcome the reality of the world.‬
‭And for Participant #3‬‭said,‬‭“‭U
‭pamasahe..pwede paki expand yung question”.‬

‭ he experience of Participant #3 said that unlike‬‭before, he/she can no longer afford‬

T
‭to buy food or the things that they used to buy, it is because of the price increase. Also, they‬
‭used to go out often but now they can’t because of the price increase in transportation fares.‬
‭A‭c‬ cording to Collins (2018), price increases in commodities‬‭and services have a significant‬
‭impact on the social behaviour of students. The study found that when prices of essential‬
‭goods such as food, transportation, and housing increase, students tend to reduce their social‬
‭interactions, such as going out with friends or participating in extracurricular activities. This‬
‭behaviour is a result of the students' need to prioritize their expenses, which leaves little to no‬
‭room for leisure activities.‬

‭And lastly for our Participant #4 stated,‬‭“‬‭Um… ano…‬‭yung prinoproblema ko yung,‬

‭ un nga… yung pagtaas ng bilihin kasi ‘di ba minsan halimbawa gusto natin ng isang pagkain‬
y

‭ he experience of Participant #4 said that the increase‬‭in prices sometimes prevents‬

T
‭them from buying the food they want because their budget is not enough. And also as the‬
‭price of the things they want to buy is increasing, then they have to work harder just to afford‬
‭them. According to Alip, Ph.D. (2022)‬‭said that‬‭instead‬‭of studying, students have to work in‬
‭order to provide for their families and overcome the reality of the world.‬

‭Risk of Health: The Effect on Social Behavior of Students‬

‭ he rising costs of goods and services have several‬‭negative effects on the healthcare‬

‭of students. Access to necessary healthcare becomes increasingly challenging as costs rise for‬
‭individuals, especially for those who don’t have enough budget. According to Oladipo &‬
‭Adetunji (2020), exploring the impact of price increases on commodities services can not just‬
‭impact academic performances but also social behaviour as well. Students tend to experience‬
‭higher levels of stress and anxiety in experiencing this kind of issue.‬

‭that if they can still have something to pack for lunch/meal for tomorrow and he also said that‬
‭his mom is also suffering from stress or anxiety that affects him also.‬‭According to Dadrah‬
‭(2023), students’ mental health is already affected by loneliness, anxiety, and stress from‬
‭having this kind of situation. The increase in essential costs, such as fares and food, has led‬
‭students to become more anxious about their spending. Also, it is difficult to plan far ahead‬
‭over how to manage the finances when you are worrying about the present situation.‬

‭this‬ ‭could‬ ‭do.‬ ‭One‬ ‭of‬ ‭those‬ ‭is‬ ‭challenging‬ ‭themselves‬ ‭to‬ ‭save‬ ‭which‬ ‭is‬ ‭what‬ ‭our‬‭project‬‭is‬
‭which‬‭is‬‭the‬‭“‭I‬ pon‬‭Challenge‬‭”.‬‭In‬‭this,‬‭the‬‭students‬‭will‬‭be‬‭challenged‬‭but‬‭also‬‭learn‬‭how‬‭to‬
‭save‬ ‭and‬ ‭budget‬ ‭their‬ ‭expenses‬‭which‬‭leads‬‭us‬‭to‬‭our‬‭next‬‭project‬‭which‬‭is‬‭the‬‭“‬‭Saving‬‭and‬
‭Budgeting‬ ‭Seminars‬‭”.‬ ‭In‬ ‭this‬ ‭seminars,‬ ‭students‬ ‭will‬ ‭learn‬ ‭how‬ ‭to‬ ‭save‬ ‭and‬ ‭budget‬ ‭their‬
‭expenses.‬‭Aside‬‭from‬‭this,‬‭students‬‭should‬‭always‬‭be‬‭anxious‬‭about‬‭limiting‬‭themselves‬‭into‬
‭buying‬‭anything‬‭unnecessary‬‭since‬‭this‬‭could‬‭help‬‭them‬‭lessen‬‭or‬‭overcome‬‭the‬‭price‬‭increase‬
‭easily.‬

‭Teachers.‬

‭29‬
‭Teachers‬ ‭should‬ ‭always‬ ‭be‬ ‭there‬ ‭for‬ ‭their‬ ‭students,‬ ‭most‬ ‭especially‬ ‭those‬ ‭learners‬ ‭who‬ ‭are‬
‭struggling‬‭and‬‭facing‬‭a‬‭problem‬‭like‬‭this.‬‭Teachers‬‭must‬‭devote‬‭their‬‭time‬‭to‬‭both‬‭educational‬
‭and‬ ‭social‬ ‭behavior‬ ‭of‬ ‭their‬ ‭students‬ ‭so‬ ‭that‬ ‭if‬ ‭there’s‬ ‭anything‬‭they‬‭could‬‭do‬‭to‬‭help‬‭those‬
‭students who are facing this problem, they could and they will know.‬

‭Parents.‬
‭Parents‬ ‭must‬ ‭encourage‬ ‭and‬ ‭teach‬ ‭their‬ ‭children‬ ‭to‬ ‭be‬ ‭patient‬ ‭and‬ ‭well-thinker‬ ‭in‬ ‭terms‬ ‭of‬
‭doing‬ ‭and‬ ‭making‬ ‭decisions‬ ‭because‬ ‭it‬ ‭could‬‭help‬‭them‬‭in‬‭any‬‭challenges‬‭they‬‭are‬‭going‬‭to‬
‭face.‬ ‭Parents‬‭should‬‭also‬‭guide‬‭and‬‭support‬‭their‬‭children‬‭mentally‬‭and‬‭financially‬‭wherever‬
‭and‬‭whenever‬‭they‬‭have‬‭to‬‭because‬‭having‬‭this‬‭kind‬‭of‬‭problem‬‭would‬‭have‬‭a‬‭big‬‭impact‬‭and‬
‭effect‬ ‭on‬ ‭their‬ ‭social‬ ‭behaviours,‬‭and‬‭having‬‭their‬‭parents‬‭by‬‭their‬‭side‬‭could‬‭make‬‭changes‬
‭and might help them to cope up easily with this.‬

‭Future Researchers.‬
‭This research study could help future researchers, especially with a topic just like ours which‬
‭is about the price increase of commodities services or inflation in general. This research is‬
‭best suited to be a quantitative research, therefore, this research will be a guide and reference‬
‭for them in their journey of being a researcher and researching. We wish you good luck!‬

‭RESEARCH PROJECT‬

‭1. Budget Planner Notebook.‬

‭This‬ ‭will‬ ‭serve‬ ‭as‬ ‭a‬ ‭savings‬ ‭budgeting‬ ‭strategies‬ ‭that‬ ‭will‬ ‭help‬ ‭students‬ ‭to‬ ‭save‬‭their‬‭exess‬
‭money‬ ‭and‬ ‭think‬ ‭about‬ ‭their‬ ‭priority‬ ‭rather‬ ‭than‬ ‭their‬ ‭wants.‬ ‭There‬ ‭is‬ ‭a‬‭guide‬‭on‬‭how‬‭they‬
‭budget their money throughout the week or month.‬

‭2. Saving and Budgeting Seminars.‬

‭This‬‭seminars‬‭are‬‭about‬‭saving‬‭and‬‭budgeting‬‭strategies‬‭that‬‭people,‬‭especially‬‭students‬‭could‬
‭do‬‭to‬‭lessen‬‭or‬‭overcome‬‭the‬‭price‬‭increases‬‭of‬‭commodities‬‭services.‬‭Through‬‭this,‬‭they‬‭will‬
‭learn how to save and budget their money and use it on better ways.‬

‭3. Ipon Challenge.‬

‭This‬‭is‬‭where‬‭the‬‭students‬‭will‬‭be‬‭challenged‬‭on‬‭how‬‭they‬‭budget‬‭their‬‭money‬‭while‬‭saving‬‭so‬
‭that in case of emergency they have money to use.‬

‭PARTICIPANT #1: Student‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: So, um… andito po tayo ngayon sa interview‬‭namin about sa aming research‬
‭which is the price increase of commodities services: impact to the social behavior of Luis Y.‬
‭Ferrer Jr. Senior High School students.

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: So, sa aming first question po what kind‬‭of challenges do you mostly experience‬
‭in facing the price increase of commodities services or ano po yung mga challenges na‬

‭pera lang yung magagastos mo so pag bigla siyang tumaas like parang mabibitin tsaka‬
‭Interviewer‬‭: So, what are the effect po ng prince‬‭increase of commodities services sa social‬
‭behavior mo po? For example po na-i-istress kayo or what.‬

‭behavior namin dahil don.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: How do students deal with price increases‬‭of commodities services? So, as‬

‭ articipant‬‭: Ano… yung like nagtitipid like kung busog‬‭naman talaga ‘pag break time ‘di‬
P

What are the ways to overcome this situation?‬

P
‭ngalang. Pero hindi naman nag-aano yung driver na… Ano nga ulit yung tanong?‬

‭Interviewer‬‭: What are the ways to overcome this situation‬‭po bukod sa pagtitipid… ganon.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: What are the causes of price increase‬‭of commodities services?

Like gaya dun sa‬
P

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: Sa pang huling question naman po, uh…‬‭ano po yung mga… what are the‬
‭reccomendations can made about this concern… ano yung mga rekomendasyon na pwede‬

‭Participant‬‭: Sige, salamat!‬

‭Interviewer‬‭: Thank you!‬

‭PARTICIPANT #2: Student‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭Good morning po... um ang aming pong…we‬‭are here para interviewhin po kayo‬
‭sa aming research which is ang title po namin is the price increase of commodities services‬
‭impact to social behavior of the student of Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School. So, ang‬
‭aming question po ay what kind of challenges you mostly experience in Price Increase of‬
‭Commodities Services?… like for example po ano po yung na-eexperience nyo regarding‬

‭38‬
t‭his, kunwari pag taas ng bilihin, pagkain and sa transportation po yung biglang pag taas ng‬
‭pamasahe.‬

‭ articipant‬‭: Mahirap syempre kasi tumaas yung mga‬‭pricing, yung budget nung parents mo‬
P

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭How do, number two how do students deals‬‭with the price increase of‬
‭example.‬

P
‭mo may wifi or ano may laptop di kana mahirapan mag pa load o kaya yung kapag sa‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭Ah pangatlo naman po is parang ganto‬‭rin po yung sa number two what are the‬
‭ways po to overcome this situation para..pano nyo po ma-oovercome yung ganitong‬
‭sitwasyon.‬

‭ganun bond papers ganun.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭And yung pangatlo naman po, pang apat‬‭naman po how do price increase in‬
‭commodities services affect the social behavior of a students so paano po sya makaka-apekto‬
‭po sainyo as a social behavior of students.‬

‭ articipant‬‭: Minsan nakaka walang gana pumasok kasi‬‭syempre wala nga kaming mababaon‬
P

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭Ummm pang lima naman po is what are the‬‭causes of the price increase in‬

‭39‬
‭yung mga presyo or yung pamasahe po.‬

‭ articipant‬‭:‬‭Sa gas kasi syempre yung pinag kukunan‬‭dati nating ng gas nag karoon sila ng‬
P

P
‭minsan yung iba nag susugal o kaya pag kinukurakot nila yung pera di napupunta sa tama‬
‭ninanakaw nila yung pera nung gobyerno kaya tumataas.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: And last po is what recommendations can‬‭be made to address this issue..so ano‬

‭ articipant‬‭:‬‭Siguro wag nalang kayong gumastos haha…wag‬‭nalang bumili ng walang‬

P

‭PARTICIPANT #3: Student‬

‭Interviewer‬‭:‬‭Hello po.. kamusta po.. good morning‬‭po, kamusta po kayo?‬

‭Participant‬‭:‬‭Okay lang buhay pa naman.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭Um ang.. andito po tayo for our interview‬‭ang title po ng research namin is price‬
‭increase of commodities services impact the social behavior of the students at Luis Y. Ferrer‬
‭Jr. Senior High School so ready na po ba kayo for first question ummm…unang una po is‬
‭what kind challenges do you experience increasing the price commodities services…like for‬

P
‭mga luho ko for example kasi nga sa price increases then sa mostly, sa challenges din lagi ako‬
‭gumagala but now hindi na dahil sa umm..pag increase nung pamasahe..pwede paki expand‬
‭yung question.‬

‭Interviewer‬‭:‬‭Ang pangalawang question po is…what kind‬‭of challenges do you‬

‭40‬

P
‭nga mataas yung…pamasahe, eh kahit gustong gusto ko wala akong choice kasi yung budget‬
‭na 50pesos back and forth ngayon nagiging 100 na sya so hindi na siya pasok sa budget ng‬
‭studyante.‬

I‭ nterviewer:‬‭Sa paanong paraan o epekto naman po nakaka-epekto‬‭ang price increase of‬

‭commodities services po sa social behavior mo? An example of this po is yung depression or‬
‭health associated risks.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭How do students deals with the price‬‭increase in commodities services, bilang‬

‭ articipant‬‭:‬‭For me as a student ang ginagawa ko nalang‬‭gumagawa ako ng list kung lang‬

P

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭Um… what are the ways to overcome this‬‭situation ano po yung mga pwede‬

P
‭kailangan sa ngayon. Itabi muna natin kasi pwede naman nating pag ipunan.. pag ipunan mo‬
‭muna tsaka mo bilhin tsaka…ah think before buying pag isipan mo muna yung bibilhin mo‬

‭41‬
I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭What are the causes of price increase commodities services uhm..sa tingin mo po‬

‭uhmm..tawag dito, nag karoon tayo ng lacks of fuel naapektuhan yung country natin which is‬
‭yung uhmm…parang I know yung Russia kasi is 1 of the provider ng ating fuel so parang ah‬
‭bilihin natin.‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭:‬‭Ahh what recommendations can be made,‬‭ah sa students po ano po yung mga‬

‭rekomendasyon kung pano uhmm..malagpasan or paano ma-oovercome tong issue.‬

‭Participant.‬‭Yung issue po sa?‬

‭Interviewer‬‭. Price Increase.‬

‭ articipant‬‭. Price increase ano po uhmm…what recommendations‬‭can be made to address‬

P
‭ah…kung merong sa mga studyante, what recommendations can be made.‬

‭Interviewer‬‭. Para sa mga kapwa estudyante po.‬

‭ articipant‬‭.

I‭ nterviewer‬‭.

‭PARTICIPANT #4: Student‬

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: Good morning po… um nandito po tayo for‬‭our research interview po …is ang‬
‭title ng study po namin is the price increase of commodities services impact to social‬
‭behaviour of the student of Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School.‬

‭Interviewer:‬‭So, pwede na po tayo mag start?‬

‭42‬

I‭ nterviewer:‬‭Um… What kind of challenges do you mostly‬‭experience in Price Increase of‬

‭Commodities Services?

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: Sa pangalawa naman po How do students‬‭deal with Price Increases in‬

‭Commodities Services?
‭a student?‬

‭ articipant‬‭:Like paano ko siya na cocontrol ganon‬‭like ano maintain ko lang siya kung ano‬
P

I‭ nterviewer‬‭: What are the ways to overcome these situations?‬‭Katulad nga po nung una‬

‭ articipant:‬‭Para ma overcome ko yung situations para‬‭kasi sakin ano eh, like ano bayan?‬
P

‭43‬

I‭ nterviewer:‬‭Um… dito naman po sa five What are the‬‭causes of the Price Increase in‬
‭Commodities Services?

‭like parang nahihirapan din sila ganon.‬

I‭ nterviewer:‬‭Lastly naman po what recommendations‬‭can be made to address this concern?‬

‭overcome or mawala na yung ganitong issue‬

‭nakakaranas or nakaka experience ng ganito?‬

I‭ nterviewer:‬‭So, may isa pa pala tayong question How‬‭does a Price increase of commodities‬
‭service affect the social behaviour of the students?
‭stress at depression.‬

‭ articipant:‬‭Pag may sakit ako or ano? Actually kapag‬‭may sakit ako parang ano kasi eh,‬
P

‭Interviewer:‬‭Thank you po!‬

‭1. What kind of challenges do you mostly experience in facing the Price Increase in‬
‭Commodities Services?‬

‭Transcript‬ ‭Coding‬

‭ articipant 1‬‭: Pagkukulang sa‬

P
‭pagba-budget… kasi yung iba di ba may‬
‭hindi natin inaasahn yung pagtaas ng mga‬
‭bilihin, like halimbawa ngayon araw‬
‭Budgeting‬
‭nakapag-budget ka na gan’tong pera lang‬
‭yung magagastos mo‬‭so pag bigla siyang‬
‭tumaas like parang mabibitin tsaka‬

‭ articipant 2‬‭: Mahirap syempre kasi tumaas‬

P
‭yung mga pricing, yung budget nung‬
‭parents mo pang kakasyahin kasi budget‬
‭lang yung isang linggo mo, baon mo pati‬
‭yung pinag pa-projects mo…‬‭yun‬ ‭Financial Struggling‬
‭mahihirapan ka kasi estudyante ka pa lang,‬
‭wala ka pang kinikita ganun‬‭.. hi-hindi‬
‭naman lahat ng estudyante is working‬
‭students e.‬

‭ articipant 3‬‭:Unlike before hindi ko na‬

P
‭nabibili yung mga ahh..dati kong binibili‬
‭like nung mga luho ko for‬‭example kasi nga‬ ‭Personal/Self-limiting‬
‭sa price increases then sa mostly, sa‬
‭challenges din lagi ako gumagala but now‬
‭pamasahe‬‭..pwede paki expand yung‬
‭question.‬ ‭Struggling‬

‭ articipant 4:Um… ano… yung‬

P
‭prinoproblema ko yung, yun nga…‬‭yung‬
‭Financial Struggling‬
‭pagtaas ng bilihin kasi ‘di ba minsan‬
‭halimbawa gusto natin ng isang pagkain‬

‭46‬
‭‘yun tapos e pag gusto mo yung bagay‬
‭nayun dapat po siyang pag hirapan para‬
‭yun nga makuha mo siya pero‬‭habang‬
‭tumataas yung bilihin or price ng mga gusto‬
‭mo bilhin pag hirapan mo yun nga pag‬
‭hirapan mo lang.‬

‭2. How does a Price Increase affect the social behavior of the students?‬

‭ articipant 1‬‭: Minsan‬‭napapa-isip nalang‬

P
‭social behavior namin dahil don.‬

‭ articipant 2‬‭:‬‭Minsan nakaka walang gana‬

P
‭pumasok kasi syempre wala nga kaming‬
‭mababaon ganun naisip mo yung mama mo‬ ‭Struggling/Financial Struggling‬
‭yung mama mo syempre mahihirapan sya‬
‭kasi marami kayo aakuin nya lahat baon nyo‬
‭pagkain nyo gastusin sa bahay ganun‬
‭nahihirapan kami‬‭.‬
‭Overthink‬
‭ articipant 3‬‭: Minsan kasi kapag matutulog‬
P

‭ articipant 4:‬‭Pag may sakit ako or ano?‬

P
‭Actually kapag may sakit ako parang ano‬
‭Tired/Unsatisfied‬

‭kumain tapos iisipin mo yung price‬
‭halimbawa ganto ganiyan gusto mo kumain‬
‭mura tapos kapag tinanong mo ulit bigla‬
‭nalang siya mamahal ng iba‬

‭3. How do students deal with Price Increases in Commodities Services?‬

‭ articipant 1‬‭:‬ ‭Ano… yung like nagtitipid like‬

P
‭kung‬‭busog naman talaga ‘pag break time ‘di‬
‭Acknowledging‬
‭nagastos nung pag break time ko, mapaglalaanan‬
‭ko.‬

‭ articipant 2‬‭:‭T
‭mo may wifi or ano may laptop di kana‬
‭Perception‬
‭pamasahe naman pwede ka naman makisabay‬
‭kung meron sakanila yung may motor.‬

‭ articipant 3‬‭:‬‭For me as a student ang ginagawa‬

P
‭important necessities na kailangan kong bilhin‬ ‭Personal Strategies/Way‬
‭naman kailangan as of now itatabi ko muna siya‬

P

k
‭siyang bilhin para hindi naman masyadong‬
‭magastos sayo‬

‭4. What are the ways to overcome these situations?‬

‭ articipant 1‬‭:‬‭Ano like gaya ng kapag sa‬

P
‭lima at least ‘di ako nag-1-2-3 ‘di ba.‬

‭ articipant 2‬‭:‬‭mag tipid number 1 talaga‬

P ‭Saving‬
‭Resourceful‬
‭pamasahe mo 30% or 50% yung‬‭matitira‬

P
‭Resourceful‬
‭example ko um..‬‭wag natin bilhin yung ah…‬
‭di naman kailangan sa ngayon. Itabi muna‬
‭natin kasi pwede naman nating pag ipunan‬‭..‬
‭pag ipunan mo muna tsaka mo bilhin‬ ‭Resourceful‬
‭tsaka…ah think before buying pag isipan‬
‭mo muna yung‬‭bibilhin mo kung importante‬

‭49‬
‭5. What are the causes of the Price Increase in Commodities Services?‬

‭ articipant 1‬‭:‬‭Ano…‬‭kasi kinukurakot tayo‬

P ‭Corruption‬
‭ng mga ibang bansa ganon‬‭. Like gaya dun‬
‭sa sibuyas like parang tinatabi nila yung‬
‭mga produkto ng mga magsasaka tsaka‬
‭Price hike‬
‭parang…‬‭di ba need talaga natin yung‬
‭sibuyas sa mga pagluluto.. edi no choice sila‬
‭na tataasan talaga nila yung‬‭… presyo para‬
‭bumili. Kahit labas sa ating loob na bumili‬
‭ng ganon, wala tayong magagawa kasi‬
‭kailangan nga natin.‬

‭ articipant 2‬‭: Sa gas kasi syempre yung‬

P

P
‭loob ng ating bansa eh…kapag yung‬ ‭Government Problem‬
‭kapartner ng bansa natin nagkaroon ng‬
‭problem for example yung nangyari sa‬
‭Ukraine at Russia ng uhmm..tawag dito,‬‭nag‬
‭karoon tayo ng lacks of fuel naapektuhan‬
‭yung country natin which is yung‬
‭uhmm…parang I know yung Russia kasi is‬
‭1 of the provider ng ating fuel so parang ah‬ ‭Financial difficulty‬
‭dito sila mag ahm..mag trabaho to provide‬

P
‭bilihin?‬‭Syempre katulad nga ng bigas‬
‭tumataasn tas bumababa kadalasan tumataas‬
‭kasi ang ating magsasaka minsan syempre‬

‭50‬
‭mamahal yan kasi like parang nahihirapan‬
‭din sila ganon.‬

‭6. What recommendations can be made to address this concern?‬

‭ articipant 1‬‭:‬‭Yun nga‬‭kailangan nga mag‬

P
‭tipid tsaka kung hindi naman talaga nila‬
‭kailangan bumili ng mga bagay-bagay na‬ ‭Saving‬
‭hindi naman importante edi huwag nalang‬
‭nila bilhin‬‭para makatipid sila‬

‭ articipant 2‬‭:‬‭Siguro wag nalang kayong‬

P
‭gumastos haha…‬‭wag nalang bumili ng‬ ‭Saving /Budgeting‬
‭walang kwentang bagay mag tipid ka!, mag‬
‭ipon ka! O kaya kung gusto mo mag‬
‭working students ka pero syempre budget‬
‭mo time mo..kelangan may ano ka..may‬
‭time…management ka para hindi ka‬
‭mahihirapan‬‭tapos yung kikitain mo dun‬
‭pwede mong gamitin sa school o kaya‬
‭i-pang tulong mo sa parents mo.‬

‭ articipant 3‬‭:‭Y
P ‬ ung issue po sa?‬
‭Price increase ano po uhmm…what‬
‭recommendations can be made to address‬
‭this issue..siguro po ano uhmm as a student‬ ‭Saving‬
‭ano po ang ma-rerecommend‬‭siguro ang‬
‭mai-rerecommend ko sa kinauukulan uhmm‬
‭do a deep research uhmm..gawin para‬
‭magkaroon sila ng conclusion na kung ano‬
‭yung gagawin nila sa problema na ‘to for‬
‭sila mag trabaho yung services nila‬
‭napupunta sa iba provide more job‬
‭opportunities sa mga kapwa natin pilipino‬ ‭Limitations‬
‭and then sa ano naman po kung ah…kung‬
‭merong sa mga studyante‬‭what‬
‭recommendations can be made.‬

‭51‬
‭ ara sa mga kapwa studyante natin na‬
P
‭nakakaranas din nito hmmm..sige‬
‭ahmm..para sa mga kapwa ko studyante‬
‭nakakaranas din nito siguro ano nalang tipid‬
‭ipon then don’t buy unnecessarily na di‬
‭naman magagamit now, yun lang po‬‭.‬ ‭Resourceful‬

‭ articipant 4:‬‭Masasabi ko lang um ano‬

P
