Design Features
• Lightweight construction.
• Wide beam for good stability.
• Folds to just over 6 feet for trailring.
• Large 7 foot long cockpit.
• Very good performance responsive and exciting to sail.
• Comes about easily and quickly.
• Can easily be sailed by one person.
• Equipped with a dagger board and kick-up rudder for easy beaching.

Construction
• Hulls: Frames are cut from 1/4” plywood using full size patterns.
Stingers are Douglas fir or other light weight boat building lumber.
Planking is 1/8” plywood covered with 4 to 6 ounce fiberglass cloth.
• Decks and Cockpit Sole: 1/4” plywood covered with 4 to 6 ounce fiberglass cloth.
• Beams: Douglas fir.
• Hinges: Aluminum
• Spars: Spruce (Spar Stock) or Aluminum
• Standing Rigging and fittings: Stainless steel
• Fastenings: Marine glue and bronze anchorfast nails. WESTS System® epoxy has been used with great
success eliminating the need for permanent fastenings.
• There are no compound curves that can make construction difficult.
• Full size patterns are available for hull frames, stems, hinges and chain plates.
• Approximate man hours to build – 350
