ASP® G90
High Gloss Kaolin

Product Description
BASF ASP® G90 high gloss kaolin is a micro fine particle-size grade aluminum silicate TiO2 extender featuring
superior gloss and high brightness. ASP G90 kaolin is produced by an innovative new process technology
developed by BASF. This new process technology produces a very fine particle size product with a narrow
particle size distribution. ASP G90 kaolin is available in pulverized powder form to provide ease of dispersion,
high Hegman grind and TiO2 extension in both solvent and water-borne paints and coatings. It is specially
engineered to provide high gloss development without negatively impacting binder demand.

Application Information
ASP G90 kaolin high gloss is designed for use in architectural and industrial, water-borne and solvent-borne
gloss and semi-gloss coatings. ASP G90 kaolin can also be used to improve mar and scuff resistance in clear
coat varnishes while providing good clarity.
