country/countries)
A smaller number of nouns do not refer to
things that can be counted so they do not have a
plural form. These are mass nouns or uncountable
nouns (ex. water, wine, flour)

Possessive nouns express ownership or

possession. To make most singular nouns show
possession, add an apostrophe and s. (‘s)
However, for singular nouns that end with -s, just
add an apostrophe after -s to show possession. (s’) For
plural nouns that end in -s, add an apostrophe after the s
to show possession. (s’)
