HERBAL INFUSED OIL
Infusing your carrier oils with herbs is a great way to make them even
more soothing and healing. Most recipes that call for carrier oils can be
swapped out for herbal infused oils.
ingredients: directions:
1. Take a mason jar and fill it almost all the

2. Fill the jar, just higher than the botanical

3. Take a saucepan and fill with water.
4. Add the jar and place over low heat and
allow the water to heat the oil for at least
an hour, adding additional water as it
evaporates.
5. Remove from heat and allow to cool,
covered with a cheesecloth for an hour.
6. Pour the first jar into a second jar
through the cheesecloth and squeeze to
make sure all the oil has been removed
from the botanical material.
7. Cap the jar and place in a cool, dark spot
and it will keep for up to a year.
SHEA BUTTER BABY BALM
This homemade soothing shea butter baby balm is perfect for your baby's
dry skin. You'll love the way this baby balm soothes and heals dry patches
leaving your little one's skin soft and smooth!
ingredients: directions:
1/2 oz beeswax 1. Add butters and carrier oils and wax to a
1 oz Avocado oil pyrex measuring cup and set into a pan
1 oz shea butter of water and heat over medium-low heat
1 oz Rosehip Seed oil until just melted.
1 drop Palmarosa EO 2. Allow the mixture to cool for a few
2 drops Lavender EO minutes.
3. Stir in the essential oil and pour mixture
into containers. Make sure you stir the
essential oils in well to ensure they’re
equally dispersed throughout the
mixture.
4. Add a cap to the container as it cools to
keep essential oil from evaporating.
DIAPER RASH CREAM
Baby diaper rash cream is a must to keep your little one's tush soft but you
may want to skip the store bought diaper creams. You're going to love this
homemade baby diaper rash cream recipe!
ingredients: directions:
1⁄2 oz beeswax or vegetable 1. Add wax and carrier oils to a pyrex
emulsifying wax measuring cup and set into a pan of
2 oz sweet almond water and heat over medium-low heat
oil or jojoba oil until just melted.
2 oz hemp seed oil 2. Remove from heat.
4 drops Lavender EO 3. Stir occasionally and watch until mixture
begins to solidify.
4. When the mixture becomes opaque, yet
still runny, stir in essential oil and pour
into a container.
5. Cap the mixture while it cools so
essential oils do not evaporate.
BABY MASSAGE OIL
Baby massage is a great way to bond with your baby. Beyond bonding with
baby it can also help baby sleep better, soothe baby, and help with baby’s
digestion and it's so easy to make!
ingredients: directions:
4 oz Sweet Almond Oil 1. Infuse Sweet Almond Oil with calendula
2 oz Jojoba oil and rose using the tutorial in this book.
1 oz Hemp Seed oil (1st recipe)
2 tbsp Calendula 2. Combine almond oil, jojoba and hemp
2 tbsp Rose petals seed oil in glass bottle.
1 drop Lavender EO 3. Add in essential oils and gently shake.
1 drop Sweet Orange EO 4. Let sit overnight.

butter measuring cup and set into a pan of
2 oz Sweet Almond or Hemp water and heat over medium-low heat

1 oz Coconut oil 2. Remove from heat.
2 drops Sweet Orange EO 3. Set Pyrex in fridge for about 20-30
2 drops Lavender EO minutes or until the mixture is beginning
to look opaque and has a little “floating
island” on top.
4. Beat with a cake beater/immersion stick
blender for about 5 - 10 minutes (stop
before it gets stiff)
5. Add essential oils and beat for 30
seconds more.
6. Spoon or pipe into containers and let
cool completely before use.
HERBAL BABY WASH
This herbal baby wash is infused with lavender and calendula making it
extremely soothing and healing fo your little one's baths.
ingredients: directions:
8 oz distilled water 1. Boil distilled water and then add herbs,
1 oz Aloe Vera Liquid or Gel remove from heat
1 oz Glycerin 2. Cover until cooled.
1 tbsp Dr. Bronner’s Baby 3. Strain herbs.
Castile Soap 4. Add remaining ingredients and stir.
1 tsp Lavender buds 5. Pour into bottle. ** Best if added to a
1 tbs Calendula petals foamer bottle.
BABY WIPES
You are going to love how cooling and soothing these homemade baby
wipes are. Once you try this, recipe you won't want to ever go back to store
bought baby wipes.
ingredients: directions:
16 oz distilled water 1. Once you’ve made your solution, pour
2 tbsp Aloe Vera Liquid or over disposable or reusable wipes.
Gel 2. Let these wipes sit in the solution for a
2 tbsp Witch Hazel distillate while before using them so the solution
(make sure its witch hazel has a chance to fully absorb.
WITHOUT alcohol

4 drops Chamomile EO
