Detailed testimony of I am the son of Catholic parents, I had my first communion, confirmation, but I was
conversion never an assiduous churchgoer, I attended Mass only by imposition of my parents, but I never felt the
(minimum 300 words) presence of God, before that, I hardly attended a church.
But around the age of 17, driven by selfish desires, I launched myself into the world,
experiencing the horrors of the world, first with drinks, cigarettes, parties, women, etc.; anything to
fill the void that only Jesus can fill for us. Getting to the point that one day, in a fight with my father, I
even attacked him with words and physically.
At the same time, I was taking the military police exam, wanting to leave my city and
throw myself completely into the world, in possession of a weapon and authority in larger cities with
more opportunities to satisfy the lust of the flesh, and casting all my hope in this contest, to leave my
parents' house and go live my own life, the way I want to.
But at the same time, I met a person, who I became fond of, who was a Christian and
took me to church. At first I only went to keep company, looking for ulterior motives, but that was not
where my conversion took place, but a seed was sown. But there came a time, when our goals were
different and after many disagreements, we moved away, and I said to myself that I would never step
inside another church, I blasphemed against God, passed in front of churches and mocked the
Christians, reaching the point to throw bibles in the trash.
At the same time, around the age of 19, at the beginning of 2009, the results of my
contest came out, and by surprise, I failed. Discouraged and disillusioned, I threw myself into the world
for good, the madness of this world sinking me deeper and deeper into the world and society. Above
all, that seed of the gospel was inside me, and these things didn't fill the void inside me, but one day a
friend from this party and friend from work (Eraldo), invited me to go to a church he was attending
(my current church, Igreja Evangélica Holiness of Dracena), where through the exposition of the word,
at the time the pastor of the church was Pastor Castilho and his wife Nilza, on September 18, 2009,
all my pride and disbelief fell to the ground, I heard the voice of God through the preaching of the
gospel and I surrender to the Savior Gospel of Jesus Christ. And on September 7, 2010, I went down
the waters of the Paraná River where I was baptized.
Until then, I try every day to do and know the will of God, reading and studying the
word of God, I see when the current church is sunk in darkness, and needs an urgent revival and the
knowledge of the word, of the true gospel. For the scriptures say, “My people were destroyed for lack
of knowledge. "Since you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; since you have
ignored the law of your God, I will also ignore your children. Hosea 4:6." At this I feel a fire in my
heart of teach people the word of God, I need to know more of the word of that God every day, to
honor and glorify his name. And fulfill the commandment of the Lord of (Mark 16:15) and be prepared
as (2 Timothy 2: 15).
