Amulius has overthrown King Pneumator and taken the throne. He exiles Pneumator's daughter Ria to serve as a Vestal Virgin to prevent her from having a royal heir. Ria falls in love with Mars but remains devoted to her duty. Amulius orders Ria's newborn twins by Mars, Romulus and Remus, to be thrown into the Tiber River. The twins are rescued and raised by a she-wolf. As adults, Romulus and Remus come into conflict over where to establish their own civilization, and Romulus kills Remus during a fight over boundaries.

SCENE 1

Amulius: You are to give up your throne at once! I command you!!

King Pneumator: You can’t do that. I am the rightful king.

Amulius: Yes I can! Guards take him! And as for you, you shall serve in the Vestal Virgins. You
are not to provide me an heir to this ending throne.

Ria: You can’t tell me what to do! I am my father’s daughter. It is only orders from him I shall
obey.

Amulius: Well I am king now. You will now obey me!

SCENE 2

Ria:*crying*

Mars: Ria, are you okay?!

Ria: Mars, I think I love you.

SCENE 3

Amulius: What did I say!?! Did I not clearly tell you to serve among the Vestal Virgins? Did I not
make myself clear?!?

Ria: I’m sorry… But please. Don’t hurt them.

Amulius: Nonsense! They shall be condemned to death. I order them to be thrown into the Tiber.
Now, give them to me!

Ria: No! Please! They’re just babies.

Amulius: Don’t you forget that I am king now. I can do whatever I want.

SCENE 4
(She-wolf has the babies and takes care of them.)

Pastor Faustalis: Poor babies! Let me take you in with my wife. You will be in great hands, I
assure you.
SCENE 5

Romulus: Father! You must make haste at once! Remus’ raid has been unsuccessful. We must
save him from Alba Longa!!

Pastor Faustalis: Son, I must tell you something important. Your history with these men go way
back. You and your brother. Your grandfather was once the king, though he was deposed by
Amulius the Usurper. You might be able to ask help from him. And in return, he might get his
throne back.

Romulus: Thank you father.

SCENE 6

King: Pneumator: Amulius is now dead. Thank you. Would you like to stay? My kingdom
welcomes you both with open arms.

Remus: Thank you, however we must not stay. Fate tells us we belong elsewhere.

SCENE 7:

Remus: Ahh over here, brother. This shall be where our civilization will be.

Romulus: No, brother. It will be on the Palatine Hill.

Remus: This place is better.

Romulus: Are you questioning my judgment?!

Remus: As a matter of fact, yes I am.

Romulus: How dare you! I am your savior and you decide to pay me with such disrespect.

Remus: I would have done perfectly on my own! I did not ask for your help!

Romulus: Oh, so it’s like that huh? Well then! Let us go our separate ways. Let’s see who’s
civilization will become an empire. Probably, it would be mine!

Remus: Wow! Very well then. Watch your words! They might bite you in the back soon.
SCENE 8
(Romulus puts rocks as borders.)

Remus: What is this?! Are you disrespecting my soon to be empire!?!

Romulus: I am putting boundaries. We must determine them this early into our civilizations.

Remus: Boundaries! What such nonsense. *crosses them*

Romulus: You never know when to stop huh?!

(Romulus kills Remus.)

Romulus: Guess your empire will never happen. Just watch, dearest brother! This soon to be
will turn into the biggest ones in history yet!
