Introduction to
'Understanding the Christ-Life Series’
To think that Christianity is a religion is to sap it of
the divine vitality it conveys. Hence, I decided to title
this series as, 'Understanding the Christ-Life' instead of
'Understanding Christianity'. I did this to disabuse the
mind of the reader from thinking I am about to promote
what might be, in my view, the best religion.
Christianity is not a religion, period!
Christ did not come to give us a religion; he came to give
us a reality! A reality of joy in the place of sorrow, of
prosperity supplanting poverty; of glory replacing
shame, of power instead of weakness. Before my very
eyes, I have seen the Word of God manifested; this
gospel works!
It's against this backdrop the Spirit of God impressed it
upon my heart to write, helping you understand what the
Christ-Life is all about. Yes, Christianity is the Christ-
Life. The Christ-life is God's divine life in the believer
making him an overcomer on earth. In all the books in
this series, you'll find revelation after revelation of the
glorious life in Christ! Plus that, you'd be brought into
practical experience of this victorious life. Have a
delightful and transforming reading!

Introduction to Christ in You!
(Understanding the Christ-Life series- Part 1)
The call to be a Christian is not a call to blindly
believe some religious myth. It's a call into a blessed
reality, one created by love. In this book, you'd get to be
overwhelmed by the truth of God's love and its
consequence on your life.
Also, you'd understand the premium God places on you
and how the gospel controls the world's events today. It
is my sincere desire and assuredness that you'd be
unusually transformed, elevated and transported to
experiences of grace far beyond what the world has to
offer.
Through this book, I believe you'd be brought into
oneness and fellowship with God and his son, Jesus
Christ (1 John 1:3). Have a transforming experience!

More than religion; it's a reality!
F ar from the popular opinion that Christianity is a
religion, I make bold to declare that it's not!
Jesus said, ' I am the Way, the TRUTH and the Life.'-
John 14:6. Such statements cause me to marvel at who
Jesus is. Such an audacious declaration!
Unlike religious leaders and founders of the World's
religions who claimed to know about the way or wanted
to achieve enlightenment, Jesus says explicitly, 'I am it'!
What is 'IT'? 'IT' refers to the divine experience sought
by Buddha, Confucius, the New-agers, etc. He is
reality! That's what truth is; the Word, 'Truth' derives
from the Greek word, 'Alethia', which denotes, 'verity,
forthrightness, REALITY'.
Religion seeks or sets forth a way to God, but Jesus
came from God inviting us to the Father! Now, he tells
us there is no other way to the father but him- John
14:6b. Jesus is God come in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
Let's look at John 14:6 while replacing the Word 'truth'
with 'reality'. It will read thus:- ' I am the way, the
REALITY' and the life' Jesus came to this world to be
the reality of the Father's love, the power of God and the
truth about life. Everywhere he went, people's
experiences were altered as they encountered the reality
he was.
I am touched as I read as Jesus healed people who knew
only infirmity as life. Think about the woman bent over
by a crippling demon of infirmity for 18 years. She
might have thought, 'Well, maybe this is God's will for
me.' Jesus said, 'Ought not this woman being a
daughter of Abraham, whom satan has bound, lo,
these eighteen years be loosed from her infirmity?' –
Luke 13:12.
Everywhere he went, he brought the reality of joy,
healing, peace, prosperity etc. He supplanted people's
erstwhile experiences of sorrow with resurrection joy as
he did in the case of Lazarus (John 11). Someone might
wish that all this was possible today! How my soul longs
for you to know that it is! The Gospel of Jesus is this:
that through believing in Jesus Christ, the sick may be
healed, the poor may be made wealthy and true and
eternal life may replace frail humanity! Cheer up, Jesus
is still doing these miracles! How? Through believers in
his name! He assured us through his Word in Mark
16:17-18, 'And these signs shall follow them that
believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they
shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall
not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and
they shall recover.' Wow, what an assurance! How true
is this? Very true, indeed!
Sadly, instead of healing the sick, a lot of Christians are
living sickly lives, all because of their ignorance. This
book will remedy that! Friend, in my short but
adventurous sojourn in this world (the author is 21 years
old at the time of this writing); I have seen miracles take
place before my very eyes! Oh, Jesus, how I love you.
He came to give us HIS VERY OWN kind of LIFE. That
life that enabled him multiply bread, raise the dead, heal
the sick, cleanse the lepers. Now, just to think I've got
that same life is almost unimaginable. While employing
the name of Jesus, I have watched with great wonder, an
arm grow out, after I prayed for a fellow with one arm
shorter than the other. Also, I have seen demons that
have held several bound, cast out while I used the name
of Jesus.
Particularly unforgettable, is the testimony of a young
man who suffered from seizures. I held a meeting he was
present at. Towards the close of the meeting, I requested
anyone with a problem of any sort to come out. He came
out and mentioned in my ears his predicament.
Confident of the Lord's words in Mark 16:17 that said in
his name I would cast out devils. I proceeded to lay my
hands on him and command the demon to leave him and
his brain be corrected. He fell under the awesome power
of God and rose up, a healed man.
I interviewed the erstwhile victim of seizures (now
victor over same) many months later and he told me the
seizures that came at regular intervals had 'ceased'.
From that day onwards, he's remained healed since.
Space would not permit to recount gleefully testimonies
of corrected eye sights, healed bladders, mended arms,
and expelled pains, amongst others. Indeed, all these
point to the reality that Jesus was and is the TRUTH.
Whatever he said stood and has endured the test of time.
God's Plan before the World.
Jesus is the revelation of God's plan he had before the
World and the fulfillment of same. Ephesians 3:9, 'And
to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the mystery, which from
the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God
created all things through Jesus Christ.'
The 'Fellowship' here, refers to the involvement of the
mystery of Christ in the events of the World. From the
creation of Adam to his fall to the giving of the Law of
Moses, to the rise of the Roman Empire. All were to
usher in the Glorious kingdom of Christ: a world
without end. God's eternal love for mankind is at the
center of this plan.
To show his love for mankind, he sent Jesus to die on the
cross with the sovereign declaration that whosoever
would believe on him should not perish but have eternal
life- John3:16. This is real, friends! To show the
specialty of those that believe, God says that darkness
shall cover the earth: things would get bleaker. But, for
the believer, the light of God would shine- Isaiah 60:2-3.
This would be a pull to unbelievers, when they see the
love of God upon us, manifested in exemptions from
poverty, sicknesses and other downsides of life. God is
good and is love.
Who is a Christian?
A Christian is one who has come into the reality of God's
love and grace by his or her faith in Christ Jesus. It's such
a beautiful thing to become a Christian. We are not in a
devotion to some far-away God, we are in a devotion to
one who genuinely loves us and proved it by dying on
the cross.
This Gospel
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the declaration of God's
love, God's mercy and his greatness. It is the
annunciation of God's goodness and benevolence
without charge. It is also the message that man's score
with God (i.e. sin) has been settled so man and God can
be reconciled.
To be a Christian is no mean deal, it's a calling into glory
and excellence!
Chapter
2
The Higher Life
T he inherent life of one who is born-again is the
higher life. Jesus said so in his conversations with
Nicodemus as chronicled in John 3:1-21. Below are
excerpts:
Verse two, 'The same came to Jesus by night, and said
unto him, 'rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher
come from God: for no man can do these miracles
that thou doest, expect God be with him.
Verse three, 'Jesus answered and said unto him,
verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born-
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’
How interesting! This fellow, Nicodemus comes to
Jesus and acknowledges the truth that he must have
come from above (i.e. God) because of the miracles,
signs and wonders he sees. But strikingly, Jesus never
responds to his praise, but rather tells him the mind of
God: You must be born-again.
What does it mean to be born-again?
The phrase, 'born-again' in the Greek means, 'Born-
above'. When we supplant 'born-again' with , 'born-
above', in our text above, you'd understand the
awesomeness of Jesus' response to Nicodemus. John
3:3, '…except a man be 'BORN-ABOVE' , he cannot
see the Kingdom of God.' I wonder how Nicodemus
felt when he heard this! Here he was, gushing at the
divinity of Jesus. Then Jesus says it's possible to have
his divine-life and therefore, partake of his divinity.
Jesus said, 'You must be born-again'!
This is no mere call unto repentance from sin alone, it's a
call to partake and function in God's divine life! It is the
supplanting of the natural human life with God's divine
life. Let's look at some of the Words of God that detail
this:
John 1:11-13,' He came unto his own, and his own
received him not. But as many as received him, to
them gave he power to become the sons of God,
[even] to them that believe on his name: Which were
born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God.'
Look at the above scriptures; blessed Words of God!
Here, he tells us the guy who received Christ, received
no religion but power (authority) to become the son of
God. He tells us of our nativity in verse 13, 'Which were
born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God.'
It's against this background I boldly declare about
myself that no disease pertaining to the blood, or the
body or mankind can affect me! Why? I am born-again:
I am born of God! Now, this hasn't stopped disease from
TRYING to attack my body. But, it has sure prevented it
from having the mastery over me. The Word of God is
light and the darkness of disease or sickness cannot
stand the light!
If you are born-again, you've got God's transcendent life
inherently in you. Let's look at God's take on this. 1 John
5:13, 'These things have I written unto you that
believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may
know ye have ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may
believe on the name of the Son of God.' Ye have
'ETERNAL LIFE'. This is no promise! But a declaration
of present truth! The one that believes is in possession of
God's eternal life. It's the victorious life.
Far above the devil!
In this life, we've been made to sit (a position of comfort
and rest) far above principalities and powers. Ephesians
2:6, 'And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us]
sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:' The
Christian life is called Sabbath-rest! It's a place of no
struggles, a ceasing from worries! This is the Life we've
come into! The devil is no longer a concern to us! Why?
The Greater One lives in us, therefore, we have
overcome the evil one!
1 John 4:4, 'Ye are of God, little children and have
overcome them; because Greater is he that is in you
than he that is in the World'. Now, he calls the devil
and his cohorts, 'beggarly elements'- Galatians 4:8.
Such is the transport of status, the One in Christ has
experienced!
Glory all the Way!
The title of this book is gotten from Colossians 1:27,
'...Christ in you, the hope of glory.' Such auspicious
words! The life to be lived in Christ is one of glory in
spite of the devil. Even in challenges, we know we win. I
am inspired by the lives of men and women of the gospel
of years gone by; how that in the face of death they
refused to yield to pleas to recant their faith. What they
had was more than religion! Otherwise, what is cause
enough for one to lay down his life?
I'll consider the example of the Martyr, Stephen. While
before the judgment, we are told that his face began to
shine (he exuded the glory of God) and saw his glorious
prize even as he was being stoned to death: he saw the
welcoming hands of his Lord and master.
1 Peter 1:11, '…..the sufferings of Christ and the
glory that should follow.' In context, this portion of
scripture tells us that the consequence of the suffering of
Christ is glory; we are that glory! It's the life where you
live above the doldrums of the world's limitations. You
smile at every situation knowing you'll always win.
The Win-Win Life!
There is no disadvantage to the one who is born-again!
He always wins! I often say, 'I was programmed to win',
or, there are three things about myself, 'I win, I win and I
always win.' Such proclamations emanated from my
discoveries on what it meant to be a Christian. I'll be
sharing them with you.
First, winning is an intrinsic virtue of the born-again
Christian. 1 John 5:4, 'Whatsoever is BORN OF GOD
overcomes the World.' This means our victories in Life
are tied to our spiritual genes. Hence, we are native to
victory.
Furthermore, God tells us we have overcome! 1 John
4:4- 'Ye are of God, little children and HAVE
OVERCOME THEM..' We were born winners. What
makes this real before your eyes is your conviction of
this reality and confession of same. You'd be amazed at
the way God's Word will shape your life as it has done
mine!
We can never lose out as Christians; it's the greater life!
The Supreme Life
Philippians 3:8, 'Yes, furthermore, I count everything
as loss compared to the possession of the priceless
privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the
surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of
knowing Christ Jesus my Lord' (AMPLIFIED
TRANSLATION).
As I studied this for the first time, tears rolled down my
eyes. I meditated on this and revelation upon revelation
began to unfold. Let's look at that Scripture again,
'……..priceless privilege (the overwhelming
preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme
advantage) of knowing Christ…'
He tells us that there is:
1. Overwhelming Preciousness in Knowing Christ
2. Surpassing worth in Knowing Christ
3. Supreme advantage in knowing Christ.
What a beautiful life we've got! The three exciting
descriptions aforementioned all allude to the state of
superiority and superintendence of life in knowing
Christ. It's overwhelmingly precious coming into
acquaintance with Jesus. There is surpassing worth in
Knowing Christ as your Lord and savior! It gives you
the Supreme advantage: the highest form of edge.
This gives us a peek-view into the thought-pattern of
men who were unflinching in their faith in Christ and
were ready to die for this cause. They knew whether in
this life or in the hereafter, they belonged to Christ and
rested in his Love. This is the higher life; separated far
above the corruptions, fears and worries of a mundane
world!
Chapter
3
The Fellowship of the Son
'G od is faithful by whom we are called unto THE
FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SON, Jesus Christ our
Lord.' 1 Corinthians 1:9,
This is one of the most mind-blowing verses of scripture
for it's the revelation of our nature as New Creations in
Christ Jesus. Looking at the scripture above, it's easy to
conclude we are in fellowship with Jesus. While that is
true, it's pertinent to understand what it means to be in
fellowship. Friends, this is beyond a mere relationship.
It belies a reality that the mind could possibly not
conceive yet God has orchestrated. Let's consider two
other translations of this verse: The Amplified Bible and
The Message.
AMPLIFIED: God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy,
and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can
be depended on); by Him you were called into
companionship and participation with His Son,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
THE MESSAGE: God, who got you started in this
spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son
and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you.
Never forget that.
Remarkable! Often, I find myself bereft of Words to
describe the phenomenon called Christianity. It is the
Father's love revealed!
Fellowship refers to, 'Companionship, partnership
and participation'. These are all bound by a sameness
of character, quality and purpose. In other words, if two
people are in fellowship, it connotes a unity with
purpose, a commonness of character.
For instance, a fellowship of Surgeons has members
based on their medical qualifications as Surgeons.
Similarly, an Association of Engineers admit their
members based on sameness of quality; the quality of
being an engineer.
Likewise, as believers we were brought into the
fellowship of the Son. Thereby, we became sons of God.
Furthermore, this tells us God relates with us or
perceives us as he does Jesus. Jesus himself said this in
John 17:23, ' I in them, and thou in me, that they may
be made perfect in one; and that the world may know
that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou
hast loved me.' Amazing!
Jesus affirms the Love of the Father for himself and
manifestly declares we are loved of God in the same
way. This is a ticket to a life of rest; knowing that God
loves you! That was the secret of the supernatural life of
Jesus; he knew his high standing with the Father.' Paul,
with this in mind, loudly asserts that, 'nay, we are more
than conquerors through him that loved us.' –
Romans 8:37. Knowing this is the key to living the
victorious life.
Sharers of his Life!
The Message translation of 1 Corinthians 1:9, 'God,
who got you started in this spiritual adventure,
shares with us the life of his Son and our Master
Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget
that.'
We are sharers of the awesome Christ-Life. Jesus came
for us to have life; life in its true form. John the beloved,
tells us that Jesus is the personification of the life of God
just like a seed is the life of a tree encapsulated. John
says 1 John 1:2, '(For the life was manifested, and we
have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you
that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was
manifested unto us;) .
In other words, Jesus is the manifestation of the life of
God. John goes further to tell us in 1 John 5:11-12, 'And
this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal
life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son
hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath
not life.'
We've been made partakers of that life; possessors of the
life of God and that life is in Christ. That was the life that
walked on water, raised the dead, multiplied food and
wrought so many more miracles. Little wonder Jesus
said, 'he that believeth on me greater works than
these shall he do because, I go to my father.' John
14:12. Why? It's because our believing makes us
participators and possessors of his life.
The Life-principle
It's important to understand something about the life
principle. The Life-principle of any creature determines
the character, capacities and capabilities of that
creature. The life in consideration is the God-life, the
transcendent, supernatural life of God. This helps us
understand how Jesus lived limitlessly while he was
here in this world. The life he possessed defines
limitlessness of potentials and ability. This is the life
we've got! It's real! Thoughts like this motivate me to
preach the gospel. We are not propagating our religion;
we are promoting the reality of a wonderful life!
The Divine Oneness
One of the prayers that Jesus prayed that draws tears
from my eyes as I meditate on it is found in John 17:21-
23, ' That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in
me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that
the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And
the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;
that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them,
and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in
one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent
me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.'
He prayed for the oneness of the believer with the Father
and himself to be accomplished! That oneness is a
beautiful reality; for in it man becomes divine having
assumed deity! This thought is expressed in 1
Corinthians 6:18, '..But he that is joined to the Lord is
one Spirit.' Wow! The word, 'joined' here in the Greek
is 'kollao' which denotes , 'cleaving'. But, the thought
this scripture expresses typifies another Greek word for
'joined' which is 'sungkerannumai' which means, 'to
become one indivisible, homogenous and
indistinguishable entity'- One Spirit! That is what we've
become; we are joined to the Lord!
Now, having become one with the Lord, he has given us
his glory! The glory of God is God's super, awesome and
terrific character expressed in brightness, light and other
divine forms. So, God has given us his glory! We've
become one with him; our character is his character.
That's why we don't struggle to live right; it's in us to do
that! We are God's righteousness- 2 Corinthians 5:21.
As a result of this oneness, we have God's love and ears.
Jesus, no longer is the only begotten of the Father; he has
become 'the First begotten among many brethren'. It's
beautiful to be born-again!
Joint-heirs with Christ!
Romans 8:17, 'And if children, then heirs; heirs of
God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we
suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified
together.'
We are joint-heirs with Christ! This, I believe is pristine
in describing what the fellowship of the son is. The
Concept of Joint-heirship doesn't connote an equal
distribution of an inheritance, vis-a-viz, 50-50. Rather,
it gives equal access to the entire inheritance to the
parties involved. Such is the providential lot of the
Christian. He is a man with an inheritance! Whatever
Jesus got from the Father we've got! It's interesting and
mind-blowing to think that we share something glorious
in common with our Lord and saviour. But, more
enthralling is when we find out what we got in common
with him! I'll not delve into that, as this will be dealt with
expansively in another book in this series titled, 'Our
Divine Inheritance'. But, you can be sure it's a glorious
one. The glory of God that was given to Jesus has been
given to us!
Jesus is the Word of God and the Word of God is the
mirror of the New creation; this means the New creation
is revealed through the Word! Whatever Jesus is, that's
who we are! We are the beauty of God; the Father's love
display! Many might not understand this, but as you
continue to meditate and put at heart the glorious
thoughts revealed through the Word, you'll be
metamorphosed into the reality of what the Word says
you are.
We have been called unto the fellowship of the son! For
this cause, we chin up, chest out, square our shoulders
and walk tall. The Father supreme, is our daddy! He
loves us as he has loved Jesus. We are children of Deity
Primus Inter pares. What a life! Thanks a million, Jesus!
Chapter
4
The Fatherhood of God!
T his is one of the biggest truths that define the
Christian; The Fatherhood of God. Jesus said in John
3:6, 'That which is born of flesh is flesh that which is
born of Spirit is Spirit.' In other words, the character of
the progenitor determine the character of the offspring.
It's a marvelous revelation of reality.
Picking up from where we left off in the last chapter,
where we discussed, 'The Fellowship of the Son'.
Having been initiated into the fellowship of the Son, we
become sons and daughters of our heavenly Father, we
have come to enjoy the fatherhood of God!
One of the many things Jesus brought as reality to us is
the Fatherhood of God.
John 20:17,' Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I
am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my
brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my
Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your
God.'
In this chapter, we would be dealing with the
implications of the Fatherhood of God! That God is our
Father is a beautiful thought to meditate on. Forget the
religious conception of God as a father; a terrifying
figure head of authority. The truth is, a lot of Christian
leaders had their perception of the Fatherhood of God
shaped by their experiences with their own fathers. Like
I told some folks, 'Don't let your experiences with your
father affect how you view God'. Let the experiences
you have with God define Fatherhood for you.
It's a Love-Call!
I remember a song I sang in the Spirit once. The
interpretation goes thus:-
'Come to the Father,
Come through the Son,
Heed the call of the Spirit,
As he calls you into life'
The story told by Jesus of the prodigal son gives
tremendous insight into the correct perception of God as
a Father. Luke 15:11-32 chronicles this marvelous
parable. In summary, it tells of a rich man whose second
son, asked him for his inheritance at the moment (a big
insult)! The Father obliged the son and the son travelled.
Having left home with a huge amount, he resorted to
careless living, spending his inheritance on harlots and
other destructive vices. At the end, he was left with
nothing. Then a great famine hit and he had to find a job
as a pig-herd. He couldn't get any nourishment save the
husks that the pigs fed on.
Then, he thought to go back to his Father and ask for
forgiveness, if peradventure his Father would at least
make him a hired servant. On his way home, something
remarkable happened: HIS FATHER WAS AT THE
ROAD WAITING FOR HIM! As soon as the old man
sighted his son, he RAN towards him and embraced
him. He brushed aside his apologies and gave him a
'glitzy' welcome party and transferred to him his
authority signified by his ring!
Something blew my mind as I meditate on the just-
related story, who knows whether coming out was
included in the Father's daily routine since his son left
home. The Father also ran to meet him. This speaks
volumes about the character of God! He is Judge, master
and ruler. But, above all, he is a loving Father.
God hates sin, but……
It is true God hates sin, but what a lot of people don't
realize is that he hated it so much, he decided to do
something about it; he made Jesus sin and killed him! 2
Corinthians 5:19, ' To wit, that God was in Christ,
reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto
us the word of reconciliation.'
The phrase, 'Not counting men's sins against them' is
rendered in the New International Version (NIV) as,
'Not counting men's sins against them'. Wow, just to
know this, is a blessedness; so unquantifiable! This,
here is the gospel, the message of reconciliation. We are
to tell sinners that God no longer is angry with them, he
has taken away the very obstacle; sin! I expect a lot of
religious folks to be taken aback by this. I am so glad
you were! Why is it that I make bold to say God is no
longer counting sins against men? 2 Corinthians 5:21,
'For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no
sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God
in him.' The price for sin has been paid. I'll deal on this
extensively in another book in this series, titled, 'Sin,
the believer and God'.
Just Like Daddy!
Among other things, the Fatherhood of God reveals who
we are. It's a revelation of who we have become. 1 John
4:17 makes a bold statement, ' Herein is our love made
perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of
judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.'
Wonderful! Blessed truth- 'As God is in heaven, so are
we in this world'; we are as holy, righteous and as
powerful as God! Knowing the father is a revelation of
our identity. For instance, we are to live holy because,
Our father in heaven is holy- 1 Peter 1:15.
We possess the life-principle of God! I've said that the
life-principle is the custodian of the kind of traits and
definitely the character of the living being in reference.
We've been made partakers of his life.
You've been kitted with all divine competencies and
facilities. This is the confidence of the believer; his
consanguity with God! He says in 2 Corinthians 5:18,
'..All things are of God.' In other words, your life has
assumed divine character. You are no longer mundane
or earthy; you've become heavenly.
Ye are of God!
1 John 4:4, ' Ye are of God, little children, and have
overcome them: because greater is he that is in you,
than he that is in the world.'
Remarkable and beautiful! 'Ye are of God' means, 'you
hail or you proceed from God'. You are God's offspring.
What's the implication of this? It's the overcoming life!
1 John 5:4, 'whatsoever is born of God overcometh
the world..' It's natural for us to win, like I said a while
ago, the believer is native to victory. Going back to 1
John 4:4, we are told, '..Greater is he that is in you,..'
Wonderful! Not only are we born of God, he lives in us!
Jesus, referring to the wonderful works he did said,
'..the Father in me, he doeth the works - John 14:10.
His miraculous life was the instance of the Father in
him. What a life!
The Fatherhood of God is an advantage beyond
comprehension. Indeed, blessed are those who are born-
again!
