Furthermore, many people are looking for strategies to improve their English but are unsure of
how or where to begin. Most English classrooms pay little attention to the intentional efforts students
make in class. Gaining proficiency in a foreign language Many students are unaware of, or pay
insufficient attention to, how to deal with conflict. Even after years of study, with the challenge of
acquiring a foreign language; just a few pupils who have employed a set of As a result of their

For at least three reasons, it has been proposed that language learners should learn how to learn
(self-directed learning). For starters, due to the difficulty of the process that learning entails, there is
never a one-size-fits-all approach to learning. Enough time within a formal instructional program to
assure student mastery, and if the learner has It is improbable that any student will be able to learn
independently outside of the classroom if they have not been prepared in the classroom. It will be
possible to learn (Carver & Dickinson, 1982; Dickinson & Carver, 1980). The belief that Students'

not overcome language learning issues, and are not fluent enough to speak in the foreign language. Due
to the fact that due to the restricted number of hours of instruction, they rarely have the opportunity to
study English, especially the most popular language.
One of the primary issues with language acquisition in Indonesia is that the majority of our pupils
lack the ability to communicate effectively. After seven years of learning English in junior and senior
high school, they are able to express themselves fluently in the foreign language. To put it another way,
they are unable to converse in English. The researcher attempted to investigate the causes of the
failures. After having studied English for seven years, the ability of Indonesian students to achieve the
