Having a contingency plan in AJJRJ Banana Fries is very important for us students that are just
starting a business. It can help us avoid any disasters or risks that may happen in the future. The
purpose of a business contingency plan is to maintain business continuity during and after a
disruptive event. A contingency plan can also help organizations recover from disasters, manage
risk, avoid negative publicity, and handle employee injuries. Having a contingency plan in place
for your small business will help prepare for any unforeseen event and hopefully minimizes the
impact on the overall health of your company.
1. Food Safety: To avoid food spoilage we must ensure the neatness of our food. Food
safety is an important aspect of food production and handling as it ensures that the
health and safety of consumers are protected from any food-related issues.
2. Food availability/Shortage: Shortage of food can make the customers buy at the other
vendors. To be able to handle this kind of situation in the future, as an entrepreneur we
must buy ingredients and hire more workers and to be able to keep our ingredients fresh
we should buy ingredients anytime when the ingredients are few to keep it fresh.
3. Employee Shortage: As our banana fries stall will be known and become a franchise, we
should hire more employees beforehand so that we can avoid the shortage of employees.
4. Sales Shortage: Loose of sales may happen anytime, to avoid this situation we must
promote our business in any social media platforms and advertise it to any person.
