Course Rationale
This course provides students with the knowledge of detailed organization of currently available
personal computers in order to understand their functioning and maintenance. The students will
also get familiar with different types of mother boards, architecture and bus standards.

Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to equip students with the structure, characteristics and operation
of modern-day computer systems.
