WATER CONTAMINATION
Talk about environmental pollution seems like a very important topic to me,
because the earth is our home and if something happens to it, something could
happen to us too. Today I will focus on talking specifically about water pollution,
because water It is essential for our survival and if we do not start making changes
in the way we care for it, bad things could happen.

Currently, our water sources are being contaminated by industrial waste and
wastes that we throw without caring. This contamination puts at risk the quality of
the water that we need to live and enjoy a healthy life.

According to the WHO, contaminated water is water that undergoes changes


in its composition until it becomes unusable. This water is completely toxic and
cannot be drunk or used for agriculture, which is why, if we do not take measures to
stop this pollution, we will have to go through serious consequences as aquatic
animals will suffer from diseases, biodiversity will be destroyed, there are scarcity of
water, also if we are not responsible, the water we drink will become dangerous. We
would have to live in a world where our dirty water sources are no longer useful.

However, I believe that each of us has the power to change this. If we


continue to throw garbage and chemicals such as oil, detergent or soap, the
situation will get worse, but if we start to be more aware and careful, we can make
a difference.

That is why I think it is extremely important to act now, as I already said, the
consequences could be disastrous. But, if we commit to changing our habits, to
collect and separate trash, not cut down trees and not use so many plastic products,
we can begin to reverse this, if we all do it, every small action counts.

All we want a future in which the water we use for our domestic activities and
the water we consume is clean and safe. If we implement advanced technologies
and stricter laws to prevent pollution, we can achieve this. Water is a very important
resource, which is why I invite all people to become more responsible with it.
In conclusion, water pollution is a delicate issue, but we can overcome it if we
act today, if each of us is responsible and takes measures, we can change the
course of this situation and achieve a future with clean water.
