2. Check Levels, elevations, distances & supports & equipment are as per
approved shop drawings & material approvals.
3. Ensure all material approvals & material verification records have been
approved by the cons..
4. Only trained & experienced personnel shall perform the work.
5. Ensure civil clearance has been issued prior to start of any Testing &
CIVIL
commissioning.

1. Verify that the hydrant can be easily accessible.

2. Verify that the hydrant has been fitted with maintenance record tag.
Testing & Commissioning

3. Verify that signage has been provided that clearly indicates the location of
the fire hydrant.

4. Verify that all water flow alarm & valve monitoring system switches operate
correctly.

5. Verify water pressure & flow rate at the fire Hydrant.

6. Connect fire hose to the fire hydrant. Open the fire hydrant & ensure that the
water should at least 20 meters.

7. Ensure all safety precautions have been complied before & after

commissioning.
