Question: Does the graduate of BSMRMU get a job in the Bangladesh Navy?
Answer: The recruitment process for Bangladesh Navy is different. BSMRMU is a public university and
conducting bachelor’s and master’s programs. The students of BSMRMU can apply to different public and
private organizations including Bangladesh Navy.
Question: Does the student of BSMRMU require to go to sea for ship
navigation? Answer: No. But students for few programs may need to go to sea for
study tour.
Question: Do I need to know how to swim for getting admission to
BSMRMU? Answer: No.
Question: Does admission in the B.Sc. program require any specific height or weight by the
candidate?
Answer: No.
Question: Is there any negative marking for the wrong answer?
Answer: Yes, there is negative marking. For one wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Question: Is the question pattern Written+MCQ?
Answer:It is fully MCQ on 100 marks.
Question:Does BSMRMU have any quota for Military person?
Answer: No.
Question: Is there any freedom fighter quota?
Answer:It preserves freedom fighter quota as per government rule.
Question: Can applicants from every faculty use calculator?
Answer: Only FET & FEOS faculty applicants are allowed to use non-programmable calculator. Applicants
from FSA & FMGP are not allowed to use calculator.
Question: Is there any residential hall facilities available for the newly admitted students?
Answer: Yes. Both for male and female students.
Question: Does BSMRMU have any credit transfer facility with any foreign
university?
Answer: BSMRMU does not have any credit transfer facility yet with foreign universities.
Question: What are the minimum GPA in SSC and HSC to be eligible for admission?
Answer: There are different criteria for various programs. Specific requirements are
uploaded in BSMRMU website.
