SECTION I: FOR THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS WRITE TRUE OR FALSE

(5MARKS)

1. Arteriosclerosis is the deposition of cholesterol and fatty acids in the blood vessels.

2. Arteriosclerosis is softening of the blood vessels.

3. Thrombosis is plugging of blood vessels with an embolus.

4. Ischaemia of the myocardium characterized by pain in upper part of the chest and

severe arrhythmias is called angina pectoris.

5. Dilation of a vein is called aneurysin.
