Resolution for Vehicle Funding in Malbago

The Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Malbago in Bontoc, Southern Leyte held a regular session on January 21, 2023. All barangay kagawads were present. The barangay passed Resolution No. 2 requesting the district congresswoman and provincial governor to allocate funds for the purchase of a rescue and multi-purpose vehicle for the barangay. Currently, the barangay does not have a vehicle for emergencies or transporting patients to the hospital. The resolution was unanimously approved.

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CONGRESSWOMAN OF THE FIRST


DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN LEYTE HONORABLE LUZ VERANO MERCADO THRU GOVERNOR
DAMIAN G. MERCADO THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR OF SOUTHERN LEYTE TO
ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF RESCUE AND MULTI-PURPOSE VIHICLES FOR
BARANGAY MALBAGO, BONTOC, SOUTHERN LEYTE.

WHEREAS, Barangay Malbago has no existing vehicle for emergency use and other
purposes for the benefits of the constituents of Barangay Malbago;

WHEREAS, the Barangay has no available and sufficient funds for the purchase of
vehicle ;

WHEREAS, this vehicle can be also use to evacuate people during calamity and
transport patient to nearby Hospital.

WHEREAS, the vehicle can also be used for transportation during activities outside the
Barangay.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Jenalyn A. Sibunga committee chair on Health


and Sanitation duly seconded by the body, BE IT.
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO REQUEST THE HONORABLE
CONGRESSWOMAN OF THE FIRST DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN LEYTE HONORABLE LUZ
VERANO MERCADO THRU GOVERNOR DAMIAN G. MERCADO THE PROVINCIAL
GOVERNOR OF SOUTHERN LEYTE TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF RESCUE
AND MULTI-PURPOSE VIHICLES FOR BARANGAY MALBAGO, BONTOC, SOUTHERN
LEYTE.
RESOLVED FURTHERE, to furnish copies of this resolution to all concerned agencies for
information and file.
